Have you ever wished learning could be as easy and fun as watching your favorite short videos? A group of Chinese short-video creators are creatively making this happen.
These creators turn boring and difficult knowledge into interesting and useful stories, covering everything from ancient history to modern technology. Many people can’t help but say, “After watching the video just once, I’ve already grasped some things I couldn’t understand from textbooks.”

The Importance of a Healthy Lifestyle
In today’s busy world, many people don’t care much about their health because of work, study or other reasons. But keeping a healthy lifestyle is very important for our body and mind.
A healthy lifestyle has four parts: a balanced diet, regular exercise, enough sleep and good mental health. A balanced diet means eating different kinds of food, such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains, protein and healthy fats. We shouldn’t eat too much junk food. It has a lot of sugar, salt and fat, and it can make us fat or make us sick.
Regular exercise is also important. It makes our bodies stronger, helps us stay away from illness and reduces the risk of long-term diseases. We should try to exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, five days a week. We can walk, run, swim, play ball games or do yoga.
Enough sleep is necessary for our health. Most adults need 7-9 hours of sleep every night, and teenagers need 8-10 hours. If we don’t sleep enough, it will affect our mood, memory and concentration. It can also make us more likely to have health problems like heart disease and sadness.
Good mental health is as important as a healthy body. We should learn to deal with stress, stay happy and get on well with our family and friends. If we feel stressed or worried, we can talk to someone we trust, relax quietly or do our favorite hobbies.
Keeping a healthy lifestyle is not difficult. It just needs self-control and keeping doing it. We can start with small changes in our daily life, such as eating one more vegetable a day, taking a walk after dinner or going to bed 15 minutes earlier. After some time, these small changes will help us live a healthier and happier life.
Remember, health is the most valuable thing we have. By keeping a healthy lifestyle, we can live longer, feel better and enjoy our life as much as we can.
33.According to the passage, why do many people neglect their health?
A.Because they think health is not important. B.Because of work, study or other reasons.

When most cities shine brightly at night, Shenzhen has chosen to turn off its lights for migratory birds (候鸟). This d 56 is widely praised.

Every winter, thousands of migratory birds s 57 here during their long journeys. Too much light can disrupt (扰乱) their natural habits or even scare them away. To care for these lovely g 58 from the north, the park turns off lights.
This does not mean the park is c 59 dark. To keep people safe, basic lighting remains in key areas such as main entrances, crossroads, and important walkways. This balanced action shows a wise and t 60 way to run a city.
As early as 2023, Shenzhen introduced rules to c 61 light pollution. For example, in the area around the mangroves (红树林), cold blue-white lights have been replaced (替换) with w 62 yellow ones that disturb birds less. Thanks to these efforts, the number of bird species in Shenzhen’s mangrove parks has r 63 from 83 to 220 over the past few years.

七、任务型阅读(共5小题,每小题2分,共10分)
阅读下面的短文,根据短文内容回答问题。
In today’s world, we use the internet for many things, but it’s not the only place where our private information is used. When we’re busy with daily tasks, sharing personal things like our names, addresses, or phone numbers can be as simple as making a shopping list. Whether we’re online or using other ways to communicate, we must take steps to protect our information.
When we’re online, always be careful. Only visit safe websites—look for “https” in the address bar. Never share passwords (密码), bank numbers, or other important information with anyone we don’t trust. Choose strong passwords for our accounts by using a mix of letters, numbers and symbols. Of course, don’t forget to change them often.
When we’re offline, be wise about sharing information. When we write down our personal information, keep it in a safe place, such as a locked drawer. When we throw away papers with our names and addresses, break them into small pieces first so that others can’t read them. When we finish using public computers, make sure to sign out of our accounts.
For our devices (设备), we should always keep them safe. Get updates (更新) when they come out. These updates often fix problems that can make our devices unsafe. They protect against bad programs that might steal our information.
Remember, our personal information is valuable. Small actions can make a big difference in keeping it safe. By being careful and following these habits, we can protect ourselves from risks and enjoy a safer life.

C.Because they have serious diseases. D.Because they live a very happy life.
34.What is NOT included in a healthy lifestyle?
A.Balanced diet. B.Regular exercise.
C.Junk food every day. D.Good mental health.
35.How long should we exercise every day according to the text?
A.At least 30 minutes. B.At least 60 minutes.
C.About 15 minutes. D.More than 2 hours.
36.What will lack of sleep affect?
A.Only physical health. B.Mood, memory and concentration.
C.The ability to eat more. D.The taste of food.

Fabrice Mba is a 46-year-old Kungfu master. He teaches Kungfu and traditional Chinese medicine in several schools in Cameroon, a country in Africa.
As a child, he grew up with his brother, who worked at the cinema then. He helped his brother sweep the cinema. He recalled when he saw Shaolin Kungfu movies for the first time, “I discovered Kungfu and Chinese culture. They are fascinating to me.” He and his friends always followed the moves in the movies, but there was no Kungfu club for them to train in.
Mba’s life changed when a group of Chinese engineers came to help set up a building near his home in the 1980s. One of the engineers could play Kungfu. To Mba’s surprise, he was willing to teach Mba. When most cities shine brightly at night, Shenzhen has chosen to turn off its lights for migratory birds (候鸟). This d 56 is widely praised.
Recently, some visitors noticed that Shenzhen Bay Park was dark at night. Shenzhen Bay lies on an important bird migration route (路线).
What makes this story special is the voice of the public. Many people agree that making space for nature is the right c 64 . This shows a growing awareness (意识) that a truly livable city is not just bright and busy, but also peaceful and balanced.
Shenzhen is not a 65 . Other cities like Beijing and Chengdu have also taken steps to cut down light pollution during migration seasons.
In the end, turning off lights for birds is not just about protecting animals—it proves that a city can be modern and eco-friendly at the same time.

66.What can feel as simple as a shopping list when we’re busy?
67.How can we make a strong password?

His life took another turn in 2015 when he received help from the Confucius Institute (孔子学院) and got a valuable chance to learn Kungfu and traditional Chinese medicine in Shaolin Temple, Henan. After three years of study, he went back to his hometown to teach others. Mba said, “I love Chinese culture, and I want more people to learn it, because it teaches people to be good.”
