“the+序数词+名词” 表示“第几个”,后文也提到“the 5th one in Spring”,因此用序数词fifth;five是基数词,不符合语法要求。
【2题详解】
句意:清明不仅是一个节气,也是一个重要的中国传统节日。
后文提到“It is an ancient festival of the Chinese nation”,说明清明是传承已久的传统节日,因此用形容词traditional;new、modern与“古老节日”的语境相悖,old-fashioned侧重“过时的”,不符合文化内涵。
be动词后接形容词作表语,后文提到“cherish the present and appreciate the efforts of others”,对应“心怀感恩”的语义,因此用thankful;thanks是名词/动词,forgetful侧重“健忘的”,forgets是动词,均不符合语境。

This summer, a cartoon film named Nobody has attracted public attention and become a big hit in China.
Unlike other typical hero stories, this film tells a unique and touching tale about a little wild boar (野猪) and his group of friends—a toad (蛤蟆), an ape (猩猩) and a weasel (黄鼠狼). They are not the powerful and fearless heroes people usually see in films, but small and ordinary creatures with their own little troubles. To make their dreams come true, they decide to pretend to be the famous Tang Monk and his disciples (弟子们) from the classic Chinese story Journey to the West.
What makes the film most moving is that the little Yaos never give up on their dream. Despite their weakness and lots of difficulties they face, they hold on to their dreams. In the end, they win respect and friendship, completing the transformation from “acting” like heroes to “becoming” heroes.
The film is filled with strong Chinese elements, which contributes to its beautiful animation style. The ancient-style buildings, the traditional costumes of the little Yaos and the natural landscape all show the unique charm of Chinese traditional culture.
It reminds us that as long as we bravely pursue our dreams like the little Yaos, and try to be kind and responsible, we are sure to shine brightly on our own life paths and become the heroes of our own stories.
32. How many main characters are there in the film?
A. 1. B. 2. C. 3. D. 4.
33. Which is the right meaning of the underlined word “hit”?
A. 撞击 B. 击打 C. 流行 D. 热潮

On September 3, a grand gathering to remember the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War was held at Tian’anmen Square in Beijing. At the end of the gathering, 80,000 peace doves flew up, and 80,000 balloons rose into the sky, carrying the Chinese people’s love for peace and good wishes for the future.
The 80,000 peace doves came from more than 3,000 dove owners. The doves that can join this important activity are usually very experienced. They have not only taken part in many big national events, but many of them have also won prizes. Some are even champions.
Peace doves are born with a strong ability to find their way home. Only 4 minutes after they were set free, the first dove successfully went back to its home in Xicheng District, Beijing. More than 95% of the peace doves can find their way home by themselves. But it’s possible that a small number of them may get lost and can’t go back. This may happen if they lose their way or the weather is bad.
The doves that joined the gathering brought back honour and also a “salary”. They only appeared for a few minutes, but each dove got 15 yuan. They also got a special ring for their legs. This small metal ring around the dove’s leg is just like a medal on an athlete’s chest.
Doves have become a necessary part of every big celebration. Generation after generation, doves fly up from the same square. They turn this symbol as a long-lasting tradition.
36. Where was the grand gathering held?
A. In the world. B. At Tian’anmen Square.
C. In Xicheng District. D. In the sky.
37. What kind of doves can join the gathering?

38. How soon did the first dove come back to its home successfully?
A. In a year. B. In ten minutes. C. In four minutes. D. In a day.
39. What did the dove get after joining the gathering?
A. Some delicious food. B. 15 yuan. C. A special ring. D. Both B and C.

But sometimes you hide your anger, for example, you may hide it in your heart. The problem is that if you do this, you may get a headache or your stomach may hurt. In fact, it’s not good to hide your anger, and it’s normal for you to get angry sometimes. But anger must be let out in the right way without hurting others or yourself.
