1. Play the video: Shenzhou-21 astronauts send Spring Festival blessings from space.
2.Ask questions:
(1)Who sent the wishes?
(2)What do you want to know about their life in space?
3.Lead to the topic: Life on a Space Station
以神舟二十一号航天员真实太空送福视频导入,贴近时政热点,激发学生兴趣与民族自豪感,自然引出本课主题,为阅读做好情感与话题铺垫。

1.Show pictures: eating, drinking, sleeping, working, exercising.
2.Ask students to predict:
What aspects may be talked about in the passage?

1.Students skim the passage and find topic sentences.
2.Finish the mind map together:
Sleeping
Working (inside / outside the station)
Eating

Task 2 Reading for Details
Sleeping:
Sleep in private quarters or sleeping bags to avoid floating.
Working:
Inside:do research, maintenance,check systems.
Outside: spacewalk (dangerous, risks like electric shocks).
Eating:
Challenge: no fresh food, liquids hard to control.
Solution: dried / freeze-dried food; drink through a tube.
Exercise:
Reason: prevent muscle and bone loss.
Time: at least two hours a day.
Leisure activities:
watch Earth, take photos, see sunrise every 90 minutes.
