1. Orientation(指向):故事背景
I was doing my regular hike up Shadow Mountain when I encountered something unexpected.Near the top, a white dog was hiding behind the rocks.地点
时间
When I approached,it barked and tried to get away,but one of its front legs was injured.We were high on a ridge(山脊),and every time I moved closer,the dog put itself more in danger.I couldn't get close without putting both of us at risk.The ground was muddy underneath the loose rocks from recent rainfall,with almost no stable footing.I called my wife for help.It was getting dark,and this dog wasn't going to make it.人物
起因
After some time,several mountain rescue teams began climbing the mountain.When one rescuer finally got within shouting distance,he told me it was too dangerous to come down to me,and that a helicopter was coming.“You would need to hold onto the dog,”he said loudly to me.
2.Complicating action:
When I approached,it barked and tried to get away,but one of its front legs was injured.We were high on a ridge(山脊),and every time I moved closer,the dog put itself more in danger.I couldn't get close without putting both of us at risk.The ground was muddy underneath the loose rocks from recent rainfall,with almost no stable footing.I called my wife for help.It was getting dark,and this dog wasn't going to make it.
I reached out to Non-emergency and Animal Control,but nobody could offer immediate assistance.Meanwhile,my wife searched online and discovered a social media post about a missing white dog that had been lost five days earlier,nearly four miles away.It had to be the same one.
Eventually,I called 911.As I waited for the police to call me back with a plan,the dog panicked again, sliding down the ravine(峡谷)twice.I knew I had to take action,so I carefully positioned myself down the ravine under the dog's location,trying to prevent it sliding farther down the slope(斜坡).My phone battery was down to three percent,so I didn't call.Instead,I used my flashlight to signal my location.

1. 目标(Goal)
(Barrier)
地面泥泞、碎石松动,脚下站不稳,随时会滑下峡谷;
小狗害怕、情绪激动,一靠近就往后退,越退越危险;
附近没有救援人员,电话联系动物管理局没人能立刻赶来;
3. 努力(Effort)
主人公慢慢靠近小狗,尝试安抚并靠近保护它;
给妻子打电话求助,妻子网上查到狗主人寻狗信息;
拨打911报警求助,等待救援方案;
主动下到峡谷下方,用身体挡住小狗,防止它滑落深渊;
4. 挫败(Failure)
小狗受惊两次滑下峡谷,处境更危险;
普通救援人员下不来,地面太危险,无法近距离施救;
电话快关机,无法继续沟通位置;
5. 意外(Accident)
6. 转折(Turning point):
7. 结局(Ending):
主人公小心抱住小狗,艰难爬回安全位置;
直升机成功接应,人和狗全部平安脱险;
6.转折(Turning point):
7. 结局(Ending):
主人公小心抱住小狗,艰难爬回安全位置;
直升机成功接应,人和狗全部平安脱险;
主人公没有选择打电话,而是 used my flashlight to signal my location,用手电筒发出信号、标示位置。
I approached the dog carefully and threw my left arm around it.---①衔接句(回应首句内容——主述位推进法) It stopped barking suddenly, trembling slightly but no longer trying to escape, as if sensing my kindness.----②衔接句启下(过渡到第二段给出句)I looked up at the ridge and made a decision--I couldn't wait. I had to get us out now.
第二段Holding the dog under my arm,I struggled to climb my way back.---③衔接句(主述位推进法,回应首句内容)Every step was dangerous. I grabbed loose rocks to pull myself up. I climbed up the ladder of the helicopter slowly and finally reached the safe ridge. Soon, the dog's owner arrived, and we all sighed with relief.⑤情感回应续写结束 The little adventure eventually had a happy ending.
1)Suddenly a car came and saved the dog.
I rushed over quickly and tried to help the dog out of danger.
2)My father came and helped me save the dog.
I walked carefully and reached out my hands to save the poor dog.
1)I saved the dog. It was safe.
I ran to the dog at once, bent down and lifted it gently.
2)I helped the dog and it was fine.
I held the dog carefully and checked if it got hurt.
1)I was very excited when I saw the dog in danger.
I felt quite worried when I saw the dog was in trouble.
2)I didn’t want to save it because it wasn’t my dog.
I couldn’t stand seeing it suffer, so I decided to help it immediately.
1)I saved the dog. That’s all.
I was happy to save the dog and learned to care for small lives.
2)This experience tells me that every life is important and we should protect them.
This little adventure eventually had a happy ending.
I approached the dog carefully and threw my left arm around it. It stopped barking suddenly, trembling slightly but no longer trying to escape, as if sensing my kindness. I held it securely in my arms, my heart racing at the thought of the dangerous slope beneath us. The sky grew darker, and time was running out for both of us. I looked up at the ridge and made a decision—I couldn't wait. I had to get us out now.
Holding the dog under my arm, I struggled to climb my way back. Every step was dangerous. I grabbed loose rocks to pull myself up. My legs shook with tiredness and I moved slowly, fearing that a single misstep would send us sliding down. A loud noise from above reminded me that the helicopter was waiting nearby. I climbed up the ladder of the helicopter slowly and finally reached the safe ridge. Soon, the dog's owner arrived, and we all sighed with relief. This little adventure eventually had a happy ending.
