→ 通顺 → 用 for)
→ 通顺 → 用 of)
1. It is important __ you to study. (important → You are important?
2. It is kind __ you to help me. (kind → You are kind. → 用 of。
3. 默写:
例句:
1. It is a good habit to read every day.
2. It took me two hours to finish my homework.
3. It seems that he is tired.
二、 形容词/副词 + enough + to do(“足够…
1. enough 默写:
1. He is tall enough.
2. I have enough money.
3. The room is big enough to live in. (live in the room)
The room is big enough to live. (✗) 这样就错了,因为不能说“live the room”,必须是“live in the room”。

The Unseen Helpers: Wildlife Guardians
In the vast forests of northern Canada, the snowshoe hare (白靴兔) population naturally goes up and down in cycles. This change directly affects the number of its main predator, the lynx (猞猁). This interaction is a classic example studied in ecology. However, scientists are now "alarmed" to see these natural cycles becoming less predictable due to climate change. Warmer winters with less snow are a problem for the snowshoe hare, whose white winter coat makes it easy to spot against the brown, snowless ground. It’s harder for them to hide, and more of them are likely to "lose their lives".
Meanwhile, halfway across the world, in a "nature reserve" in China, a different kind of guardian is at work. The "red-crowned crane" is not only a rare and beautiful bird but also plays a crucial role in its ecosystem. It helps control insect populations and spreads seeds. However, these cranes are "under threat". The wetlands they live in are being used for farming and building. To "protect" them, conservationists work "day and night". They "make use of" technology like drones (无人机) to watch the cranes without disturbing them. They also work with local farmers to create a safe environment.
The situation of the polar bear is even more serious. As sea ice melts, polar bears have to swim longer distances to find food, which uses up their energy. Sometimes, they are "forced" to come near towns to look for food, which is dangerous for both bears and people. "The progress in saving them is slow," says a researcher. "It requires a global effort."
What all these stories show is that every animal, big or small, is part of a complex web. Protecting them is not just an act of kindness; it is necessary for keeping the balance of nature. The "direction" for the future is clear: we must act now.
26. What is the main reason the snowshoe hare is facing more danger now?
A. The increasing number of lynxes.
B. The loss of their natural food.
C. Warmer winters with less snow cover.
D. Too many human hunters.
27. According to the passage, how do the red-crowned cranes help their ecosystem?
A. By making the wetlands more beautiful.
B. By controlling insects and spreading seeds.
C. By attracting tourists to nature reserves.
D. By working with local farmers.
28. Why are polar bears sometimes “forced” to come near human towns?
A. Because they are curious about human life.
B. Because the sea ice is melting and they need to find food.
C. Because they have lost their way in the vast ocean.
D. Because people in towns feed them.
29. What does the underlined word "progress" most likely mean?
A. Movement forward. B. A difficult situation.
C. A research project. D. A new law.
30. What is the main purpose of this passage?
A. To introduce three interesting animals to the readers.
B. To explain how drones are used in animal protection.
C. To show the challenges some animals face and the need to protect them.
D. To compare the living conditions of animals in Canada and China.

A Lesson from Geese
Have you ever seen geese flying in a V formation (队形)? This natural act has a deep lesson for us. Scientists have found that by flying this way, the whole flock (雁群) can fly 71% farther than one bird flying alone.
As each bird flaps (拍打) its wings, it creates an uplift (上升气流) for the bird __71__ follows. By working as a team, they make the whole journey easier. The birds at the front work the hardest. When a leader gets tired, it moves back, and __72__ bird takes the lead. They share the tough job.
The geese in the back honk (鸣叫) loudly __73__ (encourage) those in front to keep up the speed. If a goose __74__ (get) sick or hurt, two other geese will leave the formation and follow it down to help and protect it. They stay with the sick goose __75__ it is able to fly again or dies.
Isn't that amazing? It shows us the __76__ (important) of teamwork, encouragement, and standing by each other in difficult times. We are __77__ (strong) together than we are alone. Next time you see geese flying north, remember: their success depends __78__ working together and __79__ (care) for each other. Maybe it's not __80__ hard for us humans to learn from them.

1. It is important __ you to study. (important → You are important?
2. It is kind __ you to help me. (kind → You are kind. → 用 of。
1. It is + 名词 + to do… (做…是…)
2. It takes (sb.) + 时间 + to do…
3. It seems that…
例句:
1. It is a good habit to read every day.
2. It took me two hours to finish my homework.
3. It seems that he is tired.
二、 形容词/副词 + enough + to do(“足够…
主语 + be动词 + 形容词 + enough + (for sb.) + to do sth.
或
主语 + 动词 + 副词 + enough + to do sth.
He is old enough to go to school.
= He is so old that he can go to school.
主语 + be动词 + not + 形容词 + enough + to do sth.
1. 转换成 too…to… (太…
2. 转换成 so…that…
He is not old enough to see the movie.
= He is too young to see the movie.
= He is so young that he can’t see the movie.
1. enough
1. He is tall enough.
2. I have enough money.
3. The room is big enough to live in. (live in the room)
The room is big enough to live. (✗) 这样就错了,因为不能说“live the room”,必须是“live in the room”。
It is… for sb. to do…
It is… of sb. to do…
… enough to do…
