Lead-in Presentation What is a moral dilemma? A moral dilemma is a situation in which you have two or more difficult choices to make. If you choose one, you might get in trouble for not choosing the other(s). Pre-listening What moral dilemma is the boy in the picture facing? If he stops to help her, he might be late for the exam. If he does’t help her, the old woman will be in danger. Help? Not help? If you were the boy, would you help the old woman? Have you ever faced a moral dilemma or heard of someone who did?
