$亲爱的同学们,今天我们来看看IT做形式主语的主语从句。我们前面讲过用that引导的主语从句,这是用的最多的一种主语从句了当主语从句位于句首时,句子主语通常显得有些长。为了避免主语冗长,句子头重脚轻,常用IT放在句首做形式主语。而把主语从句放在句末,常见的有以下三种情况,第一种情况,IT be加名词加that从句。比如that he can swim is pity,真遗憾,他不会游泳。这个复合句的主语是that he can swim是一句话放在句首有点长,也使句子头重脚轻。所以我们要用at作为形式主语放在句首,把be和名词提前,然后把真正的主语that he can swim放在句末。全句就是IT is a pity that he can swim。再比如,IT is surprise that you . can use the printer, 你会使用打印机,真令人惊讶。这个句子也是用了形式主语IT放在句首,而把真正的主语that you can use a printer放在了句末。第二种情况是由IT加be加形容词,加N带从句,这个句型和上句中只有一个区别,就是把名词换成了形容词。比如主语从句IT is obvious . that we can solve this question. 很显然我们解决不了这个问题。这个复合句的主语that we can this question也是由于太长放到了句末,而是用IT作为形式主语放在了句首。再比如。IT is natural that they should have different views. 他们有不同的观点,也很自然也是这种句型。这里大家有一点是要注意的当这个句子形容词是important,impossible, necessary, strange, natural时,主语从句应使用shoot加动词原形形式的虚拟语气,其中should是可以省略的,就是说上面例子里的should是可以省略的,我们也可以说成IT is natural that they have different views。第三种情况是IT加be加过去分词,再加that从句,比如IT is said that there has been an earthquake in india,据说印度发生了地震,就是用了C的过去分词sad真正的主语放在了句末。当过去分词表示介意、请求、命令等主语从句应使用should加动词原形的虚拟语气,其中should也是可以省略的这一点和刚才讲的形容词的句型是一样的。比如IT is suggested that the meeting should be cancelled,有人建议取消会议,这里的shot也是可以省略的。
