阅读下列材料,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出最佳选项。
A
Dear Sun Meng,
In your last e-mail, you asked me what you should do when you are under stress and have worries. One good way that many students in my country find helpful is using a worry box. Let me… in how to make and use one.
Try using a worry box
Make a special box Use colourful things and pictures to make your worry box.
Here is a picture of my worry-eating monster box!
Write down your worries Take some pieces of paper and write down your worries.
Rate(评价) your worries and store them in the box If you like, place each worry on a scale(等级) from 1 to 10. 1 means“a little worried” and 10 means“the most worried”. For example, today I put two worries into the box. I rate“losing my new bike” as a2 and“getting bad grades in the maths exam” as a 7.
Talk it out Be sure to make some time every day or week to talk about your worries with your parents. Together, you can find the ways to deal with them.
Remember, it's not healthy to carry worries around in your head. The worry box provides a good place to“share” your worries. By using it, you’ ll learn to deal with your worries.
Anna
16. What is a worry box?
A. A box for storing worries. B. A box for keeping pictures.
C. A box for keeping grades. D. A box for making paper.
17. How did Anna feel about getting bad grades in the maths exam?
A. Not worried. B. A little worried. C. Quite worried. D. The most worried.
18. What does Anna advise Sun Meng to do after putting the worries in the box?
A. To rate them together with parents. B. To discuss them with parents.
C. To share them with friends. D. To forget about them and leave them there.

Have you ever seen thousands of small fish moving together like a giant ball? These are sardines(沙丁鱼), and they have a very clever way to stay safe in the ocean.
Living in the open sea, sardines are small and weak, so they are often in danger. Many powerful hunters, such as sea lions, sharks and large fish, are always looking for them. When a hungry sea lion comes near, the sardines do not swim away in different directions. If they do that, the sea lion can catch them easily one by one. Instead, these little fish use their“team spirit” to fight back.
Suddenly, the sardines swim towards each other very quickly. They form a large, round shape that looks like a big, spinning ball. Scientists call this a“bait ball”. Because the ball is moving and spinning so fast, the sea lion becomes very confused. It looks at the thousands of silver scales and cannot pick just one fish to eat. It is like trying to catch a single leaf in a windstorm!
By staying together, most of the sardines escape and stay alive. They are not big or strong, but they are“tactical masters”. This amazing story from the sea teaches us a great lesson. When we work together as a team, we are much stronger than when we are alone. Even the smallest creatures can do great things as long as they help each other!
19. How does the writer lead in the topic?
A. By telling a story. B. By asking a question.
C. By listing numbers. D. By using a quote.
20. According to the passage, what would happen if sardines swam away in different directions when a sea lion comes near?
A. The sea lion would get confused and leave them alone.
B. They would all be safe because the sea lion cannot catch them all.
C. The sea lion could easily catch them one by one.
D. They would form a bait ball to fight back.
21. Why do sardines form a“bait ball” when sea lions come near?
A. To attract more small fish to eat.
B. To protect themselves from being caught.
C. To play a game with other sea animals.
D. To find a new place to live.
22. What is the main lesson the writer wants to teach us?
A. Sardines are the most clever fish in the ocean.
B. Sea lions are dangerous to small sea creatures.
C. Working together as a team makes people stronger.
D. Small animals should stay away from large hunters.

I Want to Be an AI Developer
My future dream job is to be an AI developer, a career that combines my love for technology and my wish to make a difference.
I'm drawn to this job because I know AI can transform fields like healthcare and education—— for example, it can design personalized study plans for students, helping them learn more efficiently. What excites me most is that AI lets us turn creative ideas into tools that benefit people. To do this work, I’ ll join a tech company, where I can collaborate with like-minded teammates to build practical AI products.
It is not just interest but also responsibility that pushes me to pursue this dream. To achieve it, studying math and computer science carefully is a must——I’ ll focus on these subjects at school. Also, it is necessary for me to practice coding regularly in my free time, which will improve my technical skills.
I believe with consistent efforts, I’ ll become a capable AI developer who contributes to a smarter world.

Dear Sun Meng,
In your last e-mail,you asked me what you should do when you are under stress and have
worries. One good way that many students in my country find helpful is using a worry box.Let me
to make and use one.
Try using a worry box
Make a special box Use colourful things and pictures to make
your worry box.

Write down your worries Take some pieces of paper and write down your worries.
Rate (your worries and store them in the box If you like, place each worry
on a scale(等级)from I to l0.1 means“a little worried'”and10 means“the most
worried".For example,today I put two worries into the box.I rate"losing my new
bike"as a 2 and"getting bad grades in the maths exam"as a 7.

Talk it out Be sure to make some time every day or week to talk about your worries

Have you ever seen thousands of small fish moving together like a giant ball? These are sardines
(沙丁鱼),and they have a very clever way to stay safe in the ocean.
Living in the open sea, sardines are small and weak,so they are often in danger. Many powerful
hunters, such as sea lions, sharks and large fish, are always looking for them. When a hungry sea lion
comes near, the sardines do not swim away in different directions. If they do that, the sea lion can
catch them easily one by one.Instead, these little fish use their"team spirit"to fight back.
Suddenly, the sardines swim towards each other very quickly. They form a large, round shape
that looks like a big, spinning ball.Scientists call this a "bait ball".Because the ball is moving and
spinning so fast, the sea lion becomes very confused. It looks at the thousands of silver scales and
cannot pick just one fish to eat.It is like trying to catch a single leaf in a windstorm!
By staying together, most of the sardines escape and stay alive. They are not big or strong, but
they are "tactical masters".This amazing story from the sea teaches us a great lesson. When we work
together as a team,we are much stronger than when we are alone.Even the smallest creatures can do
great things as long as they help each other!

a sea lion comes near?

D.They would form a bait ball to fight back.
21.Why do sardines form a "bait ball"when sea lions come near?
A.To attract more small fish to eat.
B.To protect themselves from being caught.
C.To play a game with other sea animals.

22.What is the main lesson the writer wants to teach us?
A.Sardines are the most clever fish in the ocean.
B.Sea lions are dangerous to small sea creatures.
C.Working together as a team makes people stronger.
D.Small animals should stay away from large hunters.
