The UK is the third laziest country in Europe, according to a paper. The research shows that 63% of people in the UK do not take enough exercise. A report last year said that physical inactivity is the fourth leading risk reason for dying too early.
Being active helps you keep away from illness. So instead of watching the Olympics on the television, shouldn’t we be going for a run?
Why not play badminton or tennis rather than sit on the sofa without moving for a long time? Exercise for a short period of time may not have a large influence on your body. However, if you keep up exercising, it must bring you both pleasure and health.
The amount (量) of activity required to be healthy is important. As an adult, you need to do a total of two-and-a-half hours’ exercise a week. Luckily, the research shows that doing 10-minute activity every day also works. You can be healthy if it is part of your everyday life, for example walking or riding a bike to work.
It is not just adults who need to take exercise. As soon as your children can walk, they should also be encouraged to run and jump.
The research shows the kids under five years old spend so much time in cars that they are at risk of being unhealthy or overweight (超重) before school age. Between the ages of 5 and 18, the research suggests an hour of exercise a day is needed. Exercise at this age helps develop strong bones (骨骼) and muscles (肌肉) and reduces the risk of being overweight. Also, the old are advised to do two-and-a-half hours of activity a week. This level can reduce the risk of falling over.
So don’t be lazy and make sure you are an inspiration (鼓舞) being over to the people around you, go outdoors and do some sports together with your partners.

Everyone worries. But how do you deal with (处理) your worries? Whether your worries are big or small, you can take these steps (步骤) :
Try to find out what you’re worried about
Sometimes, you will know what you’re worried about. Other times, you might not. Try to find it out first; if you can’t, you can ask for help.
Think of ways to make it better
There is always something you can do to help you feel less worried. Sitting there worrying is no fun and it won’t solve your problem.
Grades at school are often top worries for kids. If you’re worried about grades, ask yourself these questions:
* Why are grades important? What do grades mean to me?
* How do I get ready for class? Do I go over my notes even when there isn’t a test?
* Do I have a good place to do my homework?
* Have I tried different ways of studying?
If your worry is about a fight you had with a friend, you might write down all the things you could do: write a note to him or her, invite him or her to a basketball game, say sorry to him or her, etc. Once you have a list of these things and choose one of them, you can get your friend back.
Ask for help
When you’re worried, it can help to find someone to talk to. You can ask your parents, friends, or teachers for help.
11.How many steps of dealing with your worries in the passage?
A.Two. B.Three. C.Four.
12.When you don’t know what you’re worried about, _________.
A.you should try to cut out the worries

C.you don’t need to think of ways
13.What can you do if you had a fight with a friend?
A.Maybe you could write down all the things you could do and choose one of them.
B.Maybe you needn’t to talk to him or her.
C.Just relax and do nothing.
14.According to the passage, what will you do if you worry about your school grades?
A.Get ready for the class.
B.Go over the notes only when there is a test.
C.Try to copy others’ homework.
15.The passage mainly tells us ___________.

B.when people are worried

19 Little things might mean a lot to your mom or dad. You can brighten a parent’s day with a hug, a card, or a joke. It’s also lovely when a kid cleans up his or her room without being asked. And if you try not to fight with your brothers or sisters, your parents will be so happy!

【答案】
Today is Sunday. Emily’s mother made a chore chart for her. Let’s look at what she did today.
Emily got up early in the morning. At 7:00, she made the bed. At 7:30, she cleaned the table. She did the dishes at 8:00. And half an hour later, she fed her dog. In the evening after dinner, she began to do chores again. At 19:00, she folded her clothes. At 19:30, she cleaned her bedroom. At 20:30, she swept the floor. And she took out the trash at 21:30.
Emily finished her jobs very well. Though she felt tired, she was happy. In my opinion, it’s our duty to share housework at home. The more housework we share, the happier we will be.

There is always something you can do to help you feel less worried. Sitting there worrying is no fun and it won’t solve your problem.
Grades at school are often top worries for kids. If you’re worried about grades, ask yourself these questions:

* How do I get ready for class? Do I go over my notes even when there isn’t a test?
* Do I have a good place to do my homework?
* Have I tried different ways of studying?
If your worry is about a fight you had with a friend, you might write down all the things you could do: write a note to him or her, invite him or her to a basketball game, say sorry to him or her, etc. Once you have a list of these things and choose one of them, you can get your friend back.
