活动3
Outer Space Explorations, Yes or NO?
Recently, my class has held a class meeting with the theme of the Significance of Outer Space Explorations. Opinions vary from student to student.
Some hold that outer space explorations can refresh the knowledge bank of mankind. They also claim that it can open up new habitations for human beings. Others, however, argue that space exploration is an expensive endeavor, often requiring billions of dollars to carry out a mission. Plus the safety risk is also a concern since there existed several instances where astronauts tragically lost their lives throughout history.
Personally speaking, the benefits of space exploration outweigh the costs and the potential risks. Not only does the space exploration bring about the advancements in other fields, it also contributes to social and economic development.
