Knowing what to do before, during and after a disaster is important because it helps us act quickly and correctly. Without this knowledge, people may panic and make dangerous mistakes. For example, during a flood, knowing to move to higher ground can save your life. I believe that learning these safety steps should be a part of everyone’s education.
