◆Step 1 Warming-up
1. Play a short video about different kinds of animals and ask students some questions:
What animals can you see in the video?
Do you have a pet? What is it?
2. Lead in the topic “Animal Friends” and write it on the blackboard.
◆Step 2 Pre-writing
1. Ask students to complete the passage with the words in the box, then ask students to observe the structure of the short passage.
2. Show some pictures and sentences that express the animals. Then ask Students to make some sentences to express their favourite animals and draw mind maps.
◆Step 3 While-writing
Ask Students to write their passages about their favourite animals for 15 minutes. Tell Students they can use the questions for help.
◆Step 4 Post-writing
Ask Students to check their own passages, then exchange them with their deskmates to check. After that, invite some students to share their passages.

选词填空,把文章补充完整,然后分析文章结构。
用所学句型表达自己最喜欢的动物。
写自己最喜欢的动物。
写完后先自己检查,然后同桌相互批改,之后分享优秀作品。
