现在进行时的意义
(1) 表示现在(说话时)正在进行的动作或存在的状态。例如:
The students are listening to the teacher.
He is sleeping now.
(2) 也可表示当前一段时间或现阶段正在进行的动作或存在的
状态。例如:
We are working on a farm today.
I’m reading a history book this month.

现在进行时的构成
现在进行时是由助动词 be (am / is / are) 加动词 -ing 形式构成的。以动词 work 为例,现在进行时的肯定式、否定式、疑问式和简略答语如下。
