Different from past years, the 2026 Gala used new technologies like AI, 3D projection and VR, wonderfully showing a new look of Chinese culture. ②The most shocking act was the “Wu BoT”. These 1.8-meter-tall H2 robots, wearing red martial arts robes (武术袍服), performed with students from Tagou Martial Arts School. They did backflips (后空翻), sword dances (剑舞), and even the classic Drunken Fist (醉拳). What amazed people most was that some robots even finished difficult moves while running, which had never been seen before! This performance was not only a wonder of modern technology, but also a show of the beauty of Chinese martial arts. ③In another program, dancers danced to traditional folk music. 3D projections turned the whole stage (舞台) into a lively, old Chinese painting. It looked like the performers were walking inside a valuable work of art. AI helped bring back the sounds of old musical instruments. People lost themselves in the beautiful, classical songs that had been silent for hundreds of years. ④While using these new technologies, the Gala kept traditional arts. It showed Peking Opera, Kunqu Opera, folk songs and paper cutting. These acts were much more than just fun to watch. They were lively ties to our past. They carried the deep memories and feelings for their hometowns and cultural roots. ⑤The 2026 Spring Festival Gala showed us that technology is not here to take the place of our traditions, but a tool that makes them shine even brighter. By mixing the old and the new, we can pass on Chinese traditional culture to the young in a more creative way. 8. What was the most amazing part about the “Wu BOT” performance? A. They wore red martial arts robes. B. They danced with martial arts students. C. They did difficult moves while running. 9. Why did the writer mention Peking Opera, Kunqu Opera and paper cutting? A. To compare them with the robot show. B. To show the Gala still values traditional arts. C. To explain how AI was used in each performance. 10. What does the writer think of the role of technology in culture? A. It has no place in cultural events. B. It can make traditions more creative. C. It might take the place of traditional performances. 11. Which shows the structure of this passage? A. B. C. 【答案】8. C 9. B 10. B 11. The study is based on a survey of 2,001 parents with children under the age of 18, along with another survey of more than 500 business leaders. According to the study, we discover that children who speak different languages become more aware (意识到) of different cultures, other people and other points of view. This might help them better understand the world around them and then increase their chances of finding better jobs when they grow up. The future job markets are in need of space tour guides, robot coaches, e–commerce (电商) workers, etc. No matter what a child chooses to be, multilingual (说多种语言的) and cross-cultural talents will probably take the lead. But which languages top the list? Results show that children should be learning French, German, and/or Chinese if they want to be successful in the next ten years. Being able to speak one of these languages opens the door to new markets for businesses and allows them to create new relationships with future business partners. In the survey, however, we have also found that not all parents are aware of the importance of their children learning a second language, which is quite shocking. While around 85% of the parents believe that it is important for their children to learn a second language, more than 45% of parents admit (承认) that their child or children cannot speak a second language and even 15% of the parents consider learning a second language a waste of time. If you want your child to stand out from the crowd, follow the habits of parents of successful people — give children chores, set high but realistic (现实的) expectations, get yourself educated, spend time together — and, of course, make sure they learn a second language, especially one of the three languages! 12. What can we learn from Paragraph 2? ①Learning different languages might help children get better jobs. ②The future job market only needs space tour guides. ③Multilingual children know more about different cultures. ④Multilingual and cross-cultural talents are more likely to succeed. A. ①②④ B. ①③④ C. ②③④ 13. Paragraph 4 is developed by ________. A. giving examples B. telling stories C. listing some predictions 14. The purpose of the passage is to ________. A. introduce ways of learning foreign languages B. describe the advantages of learning different languages C. advise parents to make their kids learn a second language 15. Where is this passage most probably from? A. A storybook for kids. B. A website about education. C. A science report on space. 【答案】12. B 13. A 14. C 15. To save water, they only took a bath once a month. Even so, Zhao and his team did not give up. Whatever difficulties they met, they tried their best to finish their tasks. Especially when they were on duty outside in winter, snow hit their faces and they were frozen, but they still stood like a statue without a slight move. Zhao said, “Life is not easy on the top of Changbai Mountain. Thinking of the lights of thousands of homes, I think my efforts have paid off. A. B. C. D Recently, experts are studying how language could influence children’s lives. 第二节(共5小题;每小题2分,满分10分) 阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项,并在答题卡上将该项涂黑。选项中有一项为多余选项。 With the National Reading Promotion Regulations (全民阅读促进条例) being put into use, the age of national reading has arrived. ____16____ How can students get prepared for them?
