Scientists at Nottingham Trent University say that wearing your heart on your face,could ac- tually give you a significant social advantage. The study,led by Eithne Kavanagh,a re search fellow at NTU's School of Social Sci- ences,involving over 1,300 participants,no- ticed striking variations in how much people moved their faces during conversations.Impor- tantly,this expressiveness emerged as a stable individual quality.People displayed similar lev- els of facial expressiveness across different con- texts,with different social partners,and even over time periods up to four months.
