拓展思考(示例)
Part 1
I know a charity called Orbis. It was founded to provide eye care to people in need. It has a flying hospital with an operating room and a classroom. It helps people who cannot see well. I think it is important because it gives sight to many people and trains doctors around the world.
Part 2
The HELLO Kids programme was started in 2015. It aims to support children in the countryside. It provides two kinds of “love packages” to help children with daily needs and after disasters. So far, it has sent over 340,000 packages. I believe this programme brings joy and help to children in need.
Part 3
The passive voice is useful when talking about charities because we often focus on the people who receive help or the actions that happen to them. For example, we say “A village was flooded” instead of “Rain flooded the village.” This helps us care more about the victims. I think passive voice makes charity reports more compassionate and clear.
