By the way, are you planning to join the skiing club this winter? W: I’m thinking about it. I need to practice more. M: Just remember to keep your weight forward and give it your full attention. The importance of learning to refuse. B. The disadvantages of saying “no”. C. The benefits of helping others. C 19. A 20. A 【原文】 Learning when to say “no” is an important skill in life. Many people struggle with refusing others’ requests because they fear letting them down or appearing unhelpful. However, saying “no” at the right time can protect your time, energy, and happiness. For example, if a friend asks you to help with homework when you are busy studying for an exam, it is okay to say “no”. You can explain that you must complete your tasks first. Likewise, if someone tries to make you do something unsafe or against the rules, saying “no” shows strength and good judgment. Saying “no” does not mean being selfish. It simply means you stay true to yourself and you know what really matters. Refuse unreasonable requests politely with simple explanations like, “I’d love to help, but I can’t right now.” Remember, you cannot please everyone; you don’t have to agree to everything. Knowing when to say “no” helps you focus on your goals and values, leading to a more balanced and confident life. A (爱国主义教育) Red-themed cultural education plays a key role in fostering students’ patriotism and sense of responsibility. 根据文章Revolutionary History Virtual Museums部分中的“These online exhibitions feature 3D interactive views of historic sites, interactive timelines of major revolutionary events, and audio stories of revolutionary martyrs. (这些线上展览包含革命旧址的3D互动景观、重大革命事件的互动时间轴,以及革命先烈的有声故事。)”可知,虚拟博物馆里有历史遗址的3D互动景观。故选B。 22.细节理解题。根据文章Red-themed Social Practice Camps部分中的“During the 3-5 day camps, students can take part in hands-on activities like experiencing wartime life, making military supplies, and interviewing veterans. (在为期3至5天的活动中,学生可参与体验战时生活、制作军用物资、采访老兵等实践活动。)”和文章Red Spirit Lecture Series部分中的“This online lecture series invites historians, veterans, and descendants of revolutionary martyrs to share their insights and personal stories. (这一线上讲座系列邀请历史学家、退伍老兵以及革命先烈后代分享见解与亲身经历。)”可知,实践营和讲座都涉及老兵。故选D。 23.推理判断题。根据文章第一段“Red-themed cultural education plays a key role in fostering students’ patriotism and sense of responsibility. Let’s check out several excellent red-themed practice platforms that can bring revolutionary history and spirit to life for your child’s school learning experience. (红色文化教育在培养学生的爱国情怀与责任感方面起着关键作用。下面为你介绍几个优质的红色主题实践平台,它们能让革命历史与革命精神鲜活起来,丰富孩子的校园学习体验。)”以及全文内容可知,文章主要介绍面向学生的红色教育实践平台,偏向教育推广类信息可知,本文最可能出自教育类杂志。故选A。 B (环境保护) At a party I encountered a museum director, who would soon be leaving on an African safari(观兽旅行). Feeling fascinated, my partner Hugh and I enthusiastically booked one, the sort where you shoot wildlife with a camera rather than a gun. A month later at Maasai Mara, a 583-square-mile nature reserve, we were in a vehicle surrounded by seven lions, none of which seemed to care about us. On the drive to our camp, we saw every animal that was in The Lion King. But a herd of eight elephants eating grass stole the show. Despite their impressive size, what surprised me, and was so magnificent, was the sound of the tall grass being torn with their trunks. I closed my eyes to listen, imagining creating a best-selling perfume that would smell the way grass being ripped from the ground by elephants. The world can be a wild place, but that’s not the lesson you want to carry home with you. Yes, we humans are cruel and often dangerous, but there’s still nature, and before it’s too late we need to appreciate it. Admittedly, not everyone can hang out with elephants, but look at that bird landing on your feeder, and at that squirrel chasing the bird away from the feeder. Look at the rats slipping before you on a city street, at the spider that somehow got smashed in your elevator. We’re all on a safari of one kind or another — it’s just that some of us aren’t returning with two brilliant souvenirs of Maasai and a bacteria infection. 24. What can we learn about the safari the author booked? A. It involved photographing wild animals. B. It was recommended by the museum director. C. It required the author to carry a gun for safety. D. It was a last-minute booking due to excitement. 25. What can be inferred from paragraph 2? A. Lions were the most impressive animals they saw. B. They spotted a great variety of classic wild animals. C. The author recommended the movie The Lion King. D. Maasai Mara was the filming location of The Lion King. 26. What does the underlined phrase “stole the show” in paragraph 2 probably mean? A. Failed to meet expectations. B. Caused a sudden disturbance. C. Created a dangerous situation. D. Became the most attractive part. 27. What is the author’s main purpose of writing the text? A. To call for timely appreciation of nature. B. To share an unforgettable safari experience. C. To remind readers of the cruelty of humans. D. To describe the beauty of wildlife in Africa. A 25. B 26. D 27. 根据第一段中“Feeling fascinated, my partner Hugh and I enthusiastically booked one, the sort where you shoot wildlife with a camera rather than a gun.(我和伴侣Hugh对此十分向往,当即兴致勃勃地预订了一场safari之旅 —— 这种旅行是用相机而非猎枪拍摄野生动物。)” 故选A。 25. 根据第二段中“On the drive to our camp, we saw every animal that was in The Lion King.(在开车去营地的路上,我们看到了《狮子王》里的每一种动物。)” 根据第二段中“But a herd of eight elephants eating grass stole the show.(但是一群正在吃草的八头大象吸引了所有人的目光。)”以及“Despite their impressive size, what surprised me, and was so magnificent, was the sound of the tall grass being torn with their trunks.(尽管它们体型庞大,但让我惊讶且如此壮观的是,它们用象鼻撕裂高草的声音。)” 通读全文,尤其是根据第三段中“Yes, we humans are cruel and often dangerous, but there’s still nature, and before it’s too late we need to appreciate it.(是的,我们人类是残忍的,常常是危险的,但仍然有自然,在为时已晚之前,我们需要欣赏它。)” 故选A。 C (健康生活方式) You experience a sleepless night, and the next day you find yourself in a meeting, reaching for an answer to a question from your supervisor that you failed to hear. Or you’re driving home and realize that the exit you were supposed to take from the highway is 30 seconds behind you. They’re called “attentional failures,” and they’re far more likely to occur when we have insufficient sleep. And because of the inconvenience and embarrassment that result from these failures, our typical response to them is annoyance at how our brains fail to keep our attention. According to a recent study at MIT and Boston University, however, such annoyance is misguided. Far from being the result of our brain’s “neglect” in failing to keep us alert, the lapses (失效) of attention that we experience after a sleepless night are actually a sign that our brains are working hard to prevent damage that lost sleep — whether voluntary or otherwise — might bring about. Building on earlier research revealing that, while we sleep, the brain removes potentially harmful waste products that build up during the day with a rhythmical flow of cerebrospinal fluid(脑脊液), the study explored what happens to the waking brain when it is short of sleep. Twenty-six participants completed two sessions in which they performed sustained attention tasks: one after a full night of sleep, and the other after pulling an all-nighter. Surprisingly, immediately after each lapse began, a pulse of cerebrospinal fluid flowed outward from the brain, and just as the lapse ended, the process was reversed, and the fluid flowed back into the brain — a flow pattern that strongly resembled the cleaning process the brain undergoes while we are sleeping. The most obvious solution to attentional lapses due to sleep loss is, of course, to get more sleep. A growing body of research suggests numerous ways in which a good night’s sleep benefits the brain, so even if staying more alert during the day is our primary motivation for turning off the TV or computer and sliding under the covers, a secondary result of turning in early is a healthier brain, so prioritizing adequate sleep in our schedule is a win-win. 28. What may happen to people after a sleepless night? A. They are late for a meeting. B. They suffer a loss of hearing. C. They miss the intended highway exit. D. They fail to answer the supervisor’s question. 29. What is the reason for attentional failures after staying up late? A. Our brains fail to keep us alert. B. Our brains are trying to protect us. C. Sleep loss results in negative feelings. D. Harmful products build up in our brains. 30. What does the underlined word “was reversed” mean in paragraph 5? A. Paused for a while. B. Speeded up rapidly. C. Was repeated again. D. Changed in direction. 31. Which of the following is the best title for the passage? A. Attentional Failures: A Source of Annoyance. B. Sleep Loss: A Threat to Focus and Brain Health. C. Unable to Concentrate: A Protective Brain Mechanism. D. Cerebrospinal Fluid: A Key to Brain’s Nightly Cleaning. C 29. B 30. D 31. 根据第一段“Or you’re driving home and realize that the exit you were supposed to take from the highway is 30 seconds behind you.(或者你开车回家时,发现本该驶出高速公路的出口已经开过30秒了。)” 根据第三段“Far from being the result of our brain’s “neglect” in failing to keep us alert, the lapses (失效) of attention that we experience after a sleepless night are actually a sign that our brains are working hard to prevent damage that lost sleep — whether voluntary or otherwise — might bring about.(一夜无眠后,我们出现的注意力不集中,绝非大脑“疏忽大意”、未能让我们保持警觉所致;事实上,这是大脑在竭力工作的信号——它在预防失眠(无论是否出于自愿)可能造成的损伤。)” 根据第五段“Surprisingly, immediately after each lapse began, a pulse of cerebrospinal fluid flowed outward from the brain, and just as the lapse ended, the process was reversed, and the fluid flowed back into the brain — a flow pattern that strongly resembled the cleaning process the brain undergoes while we are sleeping.(令人惊讶的是,每次注意力不集中的情况一开始,一股脑脊液就会从大脑向外流动;而当这种状态结束时,这一过程was reversed,脑脊液回流至大脑 —— 这种流动模式与我们睡觉时大脑所经历的清理过程极为相似。)” 通读全文特别是第一段“You experience a sleepless night, and the next day you find yourself in a meeting, reaching for an answer to a question from your supervisor that you failed to hear. Or you’re driving home and realize that the exit you were supposed to take from the highway is 30 seconds behind you.(如果你一夜未眠,第二天开会时,主管问了个问题,你却没听清,只能苦思冥想答案;或是开车回家时,才发现本该驶离高速公路的出口,已经错过30秒了。)” Unable to Concentrate: A Protective Brain Mechanism(注意力不集中:大脑的一种保护机制)符合语境。故选C项。 D This weekend I had the pleasure of seeing the Latvian animated film Flow in the theater. I’d never heard of it, but all of the other options were sequels(续集) or Christmas movies. Flow had a great trailer(预告片), excellent reviews, and won many awards. I was sold. It is about the adventures of a black cat, a yellow dog, and several other animals that band together to survive a catastrophic flood. There are no people in the film. In fact, there is no dialogue at all in the hour and a half. You would think that a movie without any human characters or dialogue would be boring. Well, Flow is anything BUT. On the contrary, I was often on the edge of my seat, terrified for the danger these little guys faced. They’re constantly escaping enemies and rising water. Eventually, our black cat finds himself in a new land. At the start of the movie he is alone, but by the end he is surrounded by new friends. What, if anything, does this movie “mean”? Clearly, one of the basic themes is unity — different species that initially don’t get along eventually learn to help each other survive. But I think the fact that humans are completely absent seems intentional. The animals pass through run-down, abandoned towns, implying that humanity may have been wiped out by a disaster. Combined with the flood, this suggests a metaphor about climate change and sea level rise. The movie’s metaphors are subtle: water is an ever-present symbol in the film, and it is constantly flowing forward, pushing the action and our characters. With the title literally named FLOW, temporariness seems to be the main message: things constantly changing, the world moves on. We often can’t control storms of life. What we can control are our own actions. You can choose to fight the current or go with it and make the best of what you find down river. Or it could mean something else completely different to you! Like the best poems, this movie is open to multiple interpretations. 32. What initially motivated the author to watch the film Flow? A. Recommendations from strangers. B. Curiosity about an unknown movie. C. Its positive reception and many awards. D. Its unique theme concerning animals. 33. Which of the following is a distinctive feature of Flow? A. It contains no spoken dialogue. B. It involves more than human characters. C. It is a short animation within 90 minutes. D. It is primarily a Christmas-themed story. 34. In the author’s opinion, what does humans’ absence from the film imply? A. The difficulty of survival. B. The loss of humanity. C. The unpredictability of life. D. The unity of diverse species. 35. Where is the text probably from? A. A textbook on animation. B. An eco-tour journal. C. An entertainment website. D. An editorial on global warming. C 33. A 34. B 35. 根据第一段中“Flow had a great trailer(预告片), excellent reviews, and won many awards. I was sold.(而《漂流》有着精彩的预告片、极高的评价,并且还获得了众多奖项。我被说服了。)”可知,,作者是因为这部电影预告片精彩、口碑好且获奖众多才决定观看。故选C项。 33.细节理解题。根据第二段中“There are no people in the film. In fact, there is no dialogue at all in the hour and a half.( 影片中没有人类角色,整整一个半小时的时间里也没有任何对话。)” 故选A项。 34. 根据第四段中“The animals pass through run-down, abandoned towns, implying that humanity may have been wiped out by a disaster. Combined with the flood, this suggests a metaphor about climate change and sea level rise.(动物们穿过破败、废弃的城镇,暗示着人类可能因一场灾难而灭绝。再加上洪水,这暗示了一个关于气候变化和海平面上升的隐喻。)”可推知,人类的消失暗示了人类的消亡,即人类的灭绝。故选B项。 35.推理判断题。根据文章大意以及第一段中“This weekend I had the pleasure of seeing the Latvian animated film Flow in the theater. I’d never heard of it, but all of the other options were sequels (续集) or Christmas movies. Flow had a great trailer (预告片), excellent reviews, and won many awards.(这个周末,我在电影院观看了拉脱维亚的动画电影《漂流》。 (中国传统文化) The Qingming Festival, or Tomb-Sweeping Day, is an important festival in China when people offer sacrifices to their ancestors. In ancient times, the festival prompted poets to compose about their grief regarding the lingering cold in spring and emotional moments while mourning the deceased. ____36____ The Mourning Day (清明) The Mourning Day, written by famed Tang Dynasty poet Du Mu, is one of the most well-known poems relating to the Qingming Festival. It reads: A drizzling rain falls like tears on the Mourning Day; The mourner’s heart is going to break on his way. Where can a wine shop be found to drown his sad hours? A cowherd points to a cot mid apricot flowers. ____37____ The first couplet employs pathetic fallacy(移情手法), merging the drizzle with tears to amplify the solitary mourner’s grief. The last line then ingeniously shifts toward a glimmer of hope, as the distant apricot blossom cot symbolizes a warm refuge(慰藉). Silk-Washing Stream(浣溪沙) Spring sheds a mild and wild light on Cold Food Day; Jade burner spreads the dying incense like a spray. Waking, I find my hairpin under pillow stray. The swallows not yet come, a game of grass we play; Willow down wafts while mume blossoms fade away. In drizzling rain at dusk the garden swing won’t sway. Silk — Washing Stream is a poem by Song Dynasty poet Li Qingzhao, one of the leading female poets of the time. This poem vividly captures the unique atmosphere of the Cold Food Festival, where traditions like eating cold food and playing with grass create a quiet, detached mood(淡然的心境). ____38____ The final image of the motionless swing in the drizzle perfectly mirrors the stillness of a world pausing to observe this ancient custom. Wind Through Pines(风入松) Tune: Wind Through Pines is a masterpiece of Song Dynasty poet Wu Wenying. ____39____ Here is an excerpt: Hearing the wind and rain while mourning for the dead, Sadly I draft an elegy(挽歌) on flowers. Over dark green lane hang willow twigs like thread, We parted before the bowers. Each twig revealing our tender feeling. I drown my grief in wine in chilly spring; Drowsy, I wake again when orioles(黄莺) sing. In ancient times, the festival prompted poets to compose about their grief regarding the lingering cold in spring and emotional moments while mourning the deceased.(清明节,又称扫墓节,是中国的一个重要节日,人们会在这一天向祖先献祭。 D“Here are some famous lines from poems in the Tang and Song Dynasties remembering the day.(以下是一些唐宋时期纪念这一天的著名诗句)”既承接前文“诗人创作相关诗歌”,又引出后文的具体诗词,与上下文相呼应,符合语境。故选D。 37.上文介绍了杜牧的《清明》全诗,空后“The first couplet employs pathetic fallacy (移情手法), merging the drizzle with tears to amplify the solitary mourner’s grief. Every morning, she scattered(抛撒) seeds in her backyard and whispered, “Good morning, my little friends!” To her, their songs sounded like cheerful laughter, and she often laughed along with them. However, her neighbor, Mr. Thompson, didn’t share her joy. He was constantly annoyed by the birds that flew into his yard. “They’re too noisy!” he complained. “And they make such a mess in MY yard!” His sharp words made Jane feel quite uneasy, yet she refused to give up on her feathered friends. She firmly believed that every small creature deserved care. One morning, Jane discovered a small sparrow(麻雀) shaking under the fence. One of its wings looked bent at a painful angle. Filled with worry, Jane carefully picked it up and named it Pip. She placed him in a small, warm basket in a safe corner right next to the fence. A week passed. Pip was getting better but still unable to fly. One afternoon, while Jane was feeding Pip by the fence, Mr. Thompson shouted from his side, “You’re just asking for trouble!” Jane gently lifted Pip in her hands so Mr. Thompson could see him through the gaps in the fence. “Look, Mr. Thompson. Pip’s wing is hurt.” Mr. Thompson cast an impatient glance at the tiny creature. For a moment, his frown(皱眉) softened. “That wing...” he said softly, almost to himself. Just then, Jane’s mother called her from the driveway, saying they were leaving for a family visit. Jane waved a quick goodbye to Pip and hurried to the car. However, on their way home, a heavy storm broke out. Watching the trees shaking in the strong wind, Jane felt very worried about Pip, who was left all alone in the yard. The moment they pulled into the driveway, she dashed toward the backyard, calling Pip’s name. To her horror, the basket was empty. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ At this moment, Mr. Thompson appeared with Pip. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【参考范文】 To her horror, the basket was empty. Jane’s heart sank as she frantically searched the yard, her voice trembling with fear as she called Pip’s name. Tears welled up in her eyes as she imagined the worst, fearing that Pip might have been blown away by the storm or hurt by the falling branches. She knelt down, scanning the ground for any sign of the little sparrow, her hands shaking as she picked up twigs and leaves. At this moment, Mr. Thompson appeared with Pip. He held the sparrow gently in his hands, his expression a mix of concern and embarrassment. “I found him hiding under my porch,” he said, his voice softer than usual. “The storm was too strong for him.” Jane rushed over, tears of relief streaming down her face as she took Pip back. She looked up at Mr. Thompson, her eyes shining with gratitude. “Thank you.” she whispered, her heart overflowing with joy and newfound respect for her neighbor. 词汇激活: 行为类 ①颤抖:tremble/shiver ②涌出:well up/spring up ③浏览:scan/look through 情绪类 ①恐惧:fear/dread ②宽慰:relief/comfort 【点睛】 【高分句型1】Jane’s heart sank as she frantically searched the yard, her voice trembling with fear as she called Pip’s name.(运用了两个as引导的时间状语从句以及独立主格结构) 【高分句型2】She knelt down, scanning the ground for any sign of the little sparrow, her hands shaking as she picked up twigs and leaves.(运用了现在分词作状语、独立主格结构以及as引导的时间状语从句) 20 / 21 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 2026年高考考前最后一卷(江苏卷01) 高三英语·参考答案 (考试时间:120分钟 试卷满分:150分) 第一部分 听力(共两节,满分30分) 第一节(共5小题:每小题1.5分,满分7.5分) 1. Let’s check out several excellent red-themed practice platforms that can bring revolutionary history and spirit to life for your child’s school learning experience. Revolutionary History Virtual Museums To make revolutionary history accessible and engaging, the National Museum of China has launched a series of virtual red-themed museums. These online exhibitions feature 3D interactive views of historic sites, interactive timelines of major revolutionary events, and audio stories of revolutionary martyrs. Students can “visit” iconic sites like the Nanhu Red Boat and the Zunyi Meeting Site from home, and learn about the struggles and sacrifices of the older generation. Red Culture Storytelling Competitions Organized by the Communist Youth League of China, this annual competition encourages students to explore local red history, collect stories of revolutionary heroes, and present them in creative forms like speeches, short plays, or short videos. Open to students from primary to high school, it also provides free training workshops on historical research and public speaking for all participants. Red-themed Social Practice Camps Run by local education authorities and red culture research institutions, these offline camps take students to real revolutionary memorial sites, old revolutionary base areas, and memorial halls. During the 3-5 day camps, students can take part in hands-on activities like experiencing wartime life, making military supplies, and interviewing veterans. The camps also include group discussions to help students truly understand the red spirit. Red Spirit Lecture Series This online lecture series invites historians, veterans, and descendants of revolutionary martyrs to share their insights and personal stories. Each lecture focuses on a specific red spirit, such as the Long March Spirit, the Yan’an Spirit, and the Two Bombs, One Satellite Spirit. The lectures are recorded and available on the official education platform, allowing students to watch at their own pace and join live Q&A sessions. 21. What is available in the virtual museums? A. Offline hands-on activities B. 3D interactive site views C. Annual creative competitions D. Live veteran interviews 22. What do the camps and lectures share? A. They are fully online B. They require creative works C. They hold offline discussions D. They involve veterans 23. Where is the text probably from? A. An education magazine B. A history research journal C. A local government report D. A literary story collection B (环境保护) At a party I encountered a museum director, who would soon be leaving on an African safari(观兽旅行). C (健康生活方式) You experience a sleepless night, and the next day you find yourself in a meeting, reaching for an answer to a question from your supervisor that you failed to hear. D This weekend I had the pleasure of seeing the Latvian animated film Flow in the theater. (中国传统文化) The Qingming Festival, or Tomb-Sweeping Day, is an important festival in China when people offer sacrifices to their ancestors. The poet uses wind, rain, and willow twigs to express his deep sadness, moving from mourning flowers in general to his own personal pain of saying goodbye. He wakes up from drinking, still feeling heavy-hearted, but then sees a peaceful cottage through the mist. ____40____ A. These poets’ sentiment of despondency(惆怅) and grief amid their profound verses as follows. B. The poet indicated the festival’s stable portrayals in a grandiose style(豪放风格) and an ornate style(婉约风格). C. Between the lines lies the author’s grief over the rainy spring and parting with beloved ones. D. Here are some famous lines from poems in the Tang and Song Dynasties remembering the day. E. This quatrain captures the intrinsic melancholy of Qingming and its solace with masterful subtlety. F. This quiet image brings a small sense of comfort, as if he/she has found a place to rest his/her troubled soul. G. C (健康生活方式) You experience a sleepless night, and the next day you find yourself in a meeting, reaching for an answer to a question from your supervisor that you failed to hear. D This weekend I had the pleasure of seeing the Latvian animated film Flow in the theater. (中国传统文化) The Qingming Festival, or Tomb-Sweeping Day, is an important festival in China when people offer sacrifices to their ancestors. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 10 / 11 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
