Do you think backpacks are important for students? You may say yes. With backpacks, we carry books, water bottles, pencil (31) (box) and other school things. But some schools in America are banning(禁止) backpacks in class now. Here are some reasons.
Students may bring something unnecessary(不必要的) or (32) (danger) to school. To help students focus (33) what they learn, some schools make a rule-No backpacks in classrooms.
Students' backpacks take up much space in the classroom. Because of (34) (they), the hallways are always crowded and untidy. A student with a backpack (35) (double) the space he takes.
Some backpacks are huge. (36) a student carries a heavy backpack, he or she may (37) (have) problems in the neck, back and shoulders. So these schools hope to help students use backpacks (38) (healthy).

五、任务型阅读
We all know that green vegetables are healthy, but what about other foods of different colours? It is good for you to have different colours in your diet(饮食).What about the blue food?
A food company puts the colour blue in its bags of sweets. Children like the colour blue, so are the blue sweets popular? The food company soon finds out that they aren't popular at all. Children still like red, green, brown, yellow and orange sweets.
How many blue fruits or vegetables do you know? There are few blue foods in nature-it isn't a common food colour. So, we don't think blue food is healthy or safe to eat. Maybe this is why we don't often use blue food colouring(色素)for drinks, cakes and other foods.
Some people say we eat with our eyes. I want to test(测试)this idea, so I ask some friends to have a very special lunch. My husband and I make some bread and put blue colouring in it. But no one eats it.
So will we ever see blue food on our dishes? The answer may be “no”, at least(至少)in countries like the UK and the US.

六、范文
How to Eat Well
Hello, everybody. I'm Li Hua. My topic is how to eat well.
First, we should try to eat vegetables and fruit every day, because they are good for our health. Second, I think we should not eat fast food too often. It has lots of sugar, fat and salt. Eating it too often may make us put on weight and cause heart problems. As for me, my eating habits are good. I often have healthy food like fruit, eggs and milk for breakfast. I hardly ever eat sweet food or fast food, such as ice cream and cookies.
Remember: You are what you eat. I hope everyone can eat well and live a healthy life.
