Which of the following shows the structure of the whole text?
For many of us, it’s something we already have experienced. One moment, we are lying comfortably in bed, about to fall into a deep sleep. The next, our eyes are open and we find ourselves wondering or even worrying about possibly the most important issue of our lives – the future. Will we get into the school of our choice? What will we be doing in ten years’ time? Can we become the person we really want to be? In the face of such questions, how should we approach the future? Can we take action to shape it, or should we just accept whatever comes our way.
What is possibly the most important concern in life?

What’s the intention of para1 according to author ?
To introduce the topic
To attract readers’ interest
As many of us already know, having plans in place for the future is no guarantee that they will become reality. In this respect, some people are more fortunate than others, as can be illustrated by comparing the lives of two famous authors, born 40 years apart. Although they shared the same ambitious and energetic approach to life, their careers unfolded in contrasting ways.
What is author’s perspective?
How did the author present his opinion?

“Take a leaf out of someone’s book” means to copy what someone else does because they are successful at doing it.
So, whatever twists and turns you might encounter, take a leaf out of the book of these two authors and prepare for the unexpected.

What Is Success? — Redefining "Success"
Success is not a single standard. It could be achieving your plan (Hemingway), becoming famous by accident but feeling dissatisfied (Conan Doyle), or finding meaning through constant adjustment (the most realistic path for ordinary people).

When facing the future, what Mindset should we have toward the future?
1. Embrace Uncertainty
Hemingway did not predict he would win the Nobel Prize.
Conan Doyle did not predict that Sherlock Holmes would make him lose control of his own writing life.
2. Keep Taking Action
Even if you're unsure about the future, every step you take today is planting a dot for tomorrow.
3. Look Back with Understanding and Acceptance
What seems like a "failure" or a "deviation" today may become a different kind of success in the long run.

If you could look back two years from now, what do you hope you will have done?
You can have goals, but you don't have to follow every step exactly as planned. You can feel lost, but don't stop taking action. You can look back, but don't regret the choices you made.
What really matters is not who you finally become, but whether you take every "today" seriously as you walk toward the future.
