Since the moon is so close to our earth, is it possible that plants can live in the moon soil?
For many years, testing the moon soil has been the scientists’ dream. The chance finally came as the astronauts returned from the moon, carrying some well-protected moon soil to the lab.
After knowing what the moon soil is made of, scientists also made some fake (仿制的) moon soil from the earth. They planted some seeds (种子) in the two kinds of soil and took good care of them, waiting to see what would happen. To their surprise, the seeds sprouted (发芽) and began to grow in both groups. But the plants in the real moon soil grew more slowly than those in the fake moon soil.
As a result, the moon soil may have something that is not right for plants’ growth. In order to solve the problem, scientists will choose the soil from the younger geological (地质的) places on the moon. They also need to create a more proper growing environment for the plants.
The research not only helps us study the nature of the moon soil, but also provides us with a chance to think about if it is possible to plant on the moon and live on the moon.
sticks(树枝)、 tools(工具)、trees(树)均不符合后文内容。
when(当……时候)、how(如何)、where(哪里)逻辑不通。
plant(种植)、water(浇水)、see(看见)不符合后文动作。
quiet(安静的)、dark(黑暗的)、clear(晴朗的)不符合雨后清晨的状态。
listened(听)、smelled(闻)、tasted(尝)不符合语境。
everything(一切)、something(某事)、anything(任何事)不符合语境。
safely(安全地)、carefully(仔细地)、specially(特别地)不符合 “匆忙” 的语境。
从“couldn’t wait to tell Grandma the secret”可知她很“兴奋”,所以填excited。relaxed(放松的)、worried(担心的)、afraid(害怕的)不符合语境。
peace(和平)、meaning(意义)、trouble(麻烦)不符合语境。
cheer up(振作)、give away(赠送)、turn down(拒绝)不符合语境。
