The old man hesitated, torn between his sense of responsibility and the practicality of the stranger’s advice. After a moment of internal struggle, he made his decision. He pulled an old plastic bag out of his pocket. He put all the money inside, which was less than twenty dollars, under the wiper(雨刷) of the car. Then, he felt the scratch on the car with his hands.
