He always sat alone in the school library, reading books. One day, he read The Little Prince and was deeply touched by the fox’s words: “One sees clearly only with the heart. What is important is invisible (看不见的) to the eye. You become responsible forever for what you tame.” Ethan didn’t understand it at first—what does “taming” mean? One afternoon, Ethan met an old gardener in the school yard. The gardener was taking care of the flowers and talking to them gently. Ethan watched him for a long time and finally asked, “Why do you talk to the flowers? They can’t answer you.” The gardener smiled and said, “Because I have tamed them. I spend time with them every day, water them, and care for them. They have become special to me, and I have become special to them.” Ethan suddenly understood. He thought about his classmates: he never tried to talk to them or spend time with them, so he felt lonely. The next day, when his classmate Mia was struggling with her math homework, Ethan walked over and offered to help. He spent an hour teaching her, and they talked happily after that. Day by day, Ethan began to talk to his classmates, helped them when they were in need, and shared his happiness and sadness with them. Slowly, Ethan made many friends. He realized that “taming” is not about controlling others, but about spending time, being sincere, and building a warm connection. Just like the little prince and the fox, they were nothing to each other at first, but after taming, they became important to each other. Ethan knew that he had found his “fox”—his friends. And he also understood the most important lesson from The Little Prince: true friendship and connection come from the heart, not from being together by chance. 1.Why did the old gardener talk to the flowers gently? His task was simple: stay with the residents (居住者). But he had no idea how to connect with people much older than him until he discovered a box of old-fashioned toys in the activity room. Ms. Clara, an 82-year-old woman who hardly left her chair, caught his eye as he went through the box. “Those are marbles,” she said softly, pointing to the colorful glass balls in his hand. “I used to play with my brother every weekend in our backyard.” Ethan’s face lit up; his grandpa had taught him the same game the summer before. He sat down beside her and held out the marbles. “Want to tell me how you played it back then?” To his surprise, Ms. Clara’s eyes lit up as she talked about her childhood-digging small holes in the dirt, taking turns to shoot the marbles with her thumb, and cheering when she won a round. Ethan joined in, missing his target at first but smiling as she gently showed him how to aim better. Soon, other residents gathered: Mr. Torres taught them to play a stick-picking game, while Mrs. Lin showed everyone how to fold paper airplanes that flew far across the room. The nursing home’s quiet afternoons turned into lively game time. Ethan learned that the old games weren’t just fun-they were keys to the residents’ memories. Ms. Clara started smiling more, even joining group chats after their games. On his last day, she gave a handwritten note to him: “You didn’t just play with me-you brought back pieces of my life I thought were gone. “ Ethan left with a new understanding: warmth isn’t about fancy gestures. They can affect feelings, decisions, and even energy levels without being noticed. Red makes people feel excited and increases attention. It is often used in warnings because it can catch people’s eyes quickly. However, too much red may make people feel nervous and easy to get angry. Blue is widely seen as a calm color. It lowers pressure and helps people relax. That is why offices and bedrooms often use blue to create a peaceful feeling. Unlike red, blue slows people’s heart rate and makes them feel peaceful. Yellow brings joy and warmth, but it may also make people feel worried if used too much. Green connects people with nature, reducing tiredness and helping people calm down easily. Businesses use colors carefully to influence customers. Fast‑food restaurants often choose red and yellow to make people eat more quickly. Shops use soft colors to make people stay longer. Many models of newly developed large unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs, 无人机) are showing their ability to protect the environment. In recent years, they have been used to put out forest fires and do other dangerous tasks (任务). In mid-March 2024, Yajiang County in Sichuan Province faced a challenging spring when a serious forest fire happened. However, the situation changed quickly as the new aircraft were used to support firefighting (消防). The aircraft played a key role in finding the cause of the fire and understanding its size. The UAVs provided real-time heat pictures and maps, helping to plan the firefighting efforts. At the same time, the fixed-wing (固定翼) aircraft dropped water on certain areas. It stopped the fire and saved more of the forest. This was the first time that China used large UAVs to carry out some tasks, like putting out forest fires. The move showed the advantages of these new aircraft and provided a new way to stay away from disasters (灾害). These new aircraft were also used for other tasks. MA-60 aircraft have been used not only for firefighting, but also for spring drought (干旱). In the spring of 2024, they increased the rounds of rainfall (降雨轮次) in Shaanxi Province. They have also played a key role in facing the challenges of the weather. Clear waters and green mountains are not only natural wealth but also social wealth. As the technology improves, more Chinese-made aircraft will be developed in the future. Some animals look like they do! However, these “eyes” aren’t for seeing— in fact, they can’t see at all and are called fake eyes or eyespots. It’s easy to be tricked by them— after all, they look a lot like eyes. They’re large and round, and they seem to stare (瞪眼看). Though eyespots are similar to real eyes, they are just designs, or patterns (图案), found on different parts of animals’bodies, including feathers or fur. They can be found on the tails of peacocks, the wings of butterflies, or the skin of frogs. You might wonder: if eyespots can’t help an animal see, why are they there at all? Scientists believe that eyespots send strong messages to other animals. For example, peacocks have long, colorful tails decorated with many eyespots. During the mating (交配) season, they spread their tails to attract female peacocks. Eyespots seem to be an honest sign of strength, a way for a peacock to say, “You can be sure I’m the best choice!” In other cases, eyespots help animals stay out of danger. They can also send a totally different message, acting as a way for an animal to say “Boo!” to its enemies and scare them away. The four-eyed frog of South America has eyespots on its bottom. When in danger, it turns around and shows large eyespots on its body. Filled with poison (毒液), these eyespots can harm anyone who tries to bite the frog and can even cause death. Eyespots are fake eyes but they play a very real role in helping animals survive. 26.What does the underlined word “fake” probably mean in Paragraph 1? A.natural B.unreal C.lovely D.bright 27.What are eyespots according to the text? A.They are big eyes for seeing clearly. B.They are dangerous poisons on animals’ skin. C.They are special patterns on different parts of animals’ bodies. D.They are small feathers on animals’ tails. 28.Why does the writer mention peacocks in Paragraph 3? A.To show how peacocks make friends. B.To tell readers peacocks are beautiful. C.To introduce the living habits of peacocks. D.To explain one important use of eyespots. 29.What is special about the eyespots of the four-eyed frog? A.They are filled with deadly poison. B.They can help the frog see in the dark. C.They are on the frog’s legs. D.They can help the frog find food easily. 30.Which of the following best shows the structure of the text? A.①②/③/④⑤ B.①②/③④/⑤ C.①/②③/④⑤ D.①②③/④/⑤ 抢分07 人与自然(可再生资源的利用) (2026·福建福州·一模)One report by Ember, a global energy group, says the world’s solar and wind farms produced more electricity than coal power plants for the first time. The world produced nearly one-third more solar power in the first half of 2025 than in the same period last year. The growing solar power met 83% of the increase in world’s electricity demand (需求). Besides, wind power grew by over 7%. Together, they filled nearly all of the global growth in electricity demand. “This milestone is an important turning point,” says Malgorzata Wiatros-Motyka, the writer of the report. “Solar and wind power are now growing fast enough to meet the world’s growing needs for electricity,” she said. “This marks clean power is developing at the same speed as the growing electricity demand.” According to Ember’s report, China added more renewable energy than the rest of the world together. And another report by the International Energy Agency (IEA) shows China has been the world’s biggest growing market for renewables. The following explains the success: ● In 2023, China spent about $700 billion on clean energy—almost the same amount as that of all other countries together. ● In 2024, China added 356.61 gigawatts (GW) of new wind and solar power capacity (容量), which is more than Germany’s total power capacity of 352 GW. ● In 2024, China’s coal use increased by 1.7% compared with 2023, while its share of total energy use fell by 1.6%. ● China makes 80% of the world’s solar panels (板) and is the No.1 seller of wind turbines and batteries, helping many countries change to cleaner energy too. However, in the U. S. , electricity demand grew faster than renewables growth, leading to a 17% rise in coal power in the first half of 2025. And in the E.U., slow growth in electricity demand met an unexpected problem: a weather-related drop in wind and hydropower (水力发电) caused more use of gas and coal, even though solar power was developing rapidly. 31.What does the underlined word “This milestone” refer to? A.Solar and wind power have replaced the use of gas and coal. B.83% of the world electricity was from wind power in 2025. C.Rising wind and solar power nearly met global electricity growth. D.The world’s coal power plants are developing at a rapid speed in 2025. 32.What does Paragraph 3 mainly talk about? A.Growing renewables demand in China. B.China’s contribution to global clean energy. C.Growing numbers of renewable farms in China. D.China’s latest research on solar panels and batteries. 33.Which picture shows coal use and its share of total energy use in China (2023-2024)? A. B. C. D. 34.How did the U. S. deal with its growing energy demand in the first half of 2025? A.By producing more solar power. B.By increasing the use of coal power. C.By raising the output of wind and hydropower. D.By controlling the growth speed of energy demand. 35.Which would be the best title for the text? A.Global Renewables: Wind Stands Out B.Global Energy: Renewables Share Rises C.World Energy Increase: Gas & Coal Go Up D.World Electricity Demand: Solar Panels Lead 抢分08 人与社会(对文化与文物的保护) (2025·福建泉州·二模)“The road to Shu is difficult, even more difficult than climbing to the blue sky,” as Li Bai’s poem goes. For over two thousand years, the ancient road system has been a treasure of Chinese culture. But for American scholar Hope Justman, it is even more than that. She sees it as a living record of history worthy of UNESCO World Heritage status (世界遗产称号). She visited an exhibition in Boston when she was in college, where a painting drew her attention. Huge mountains, thick trees, and mountain streams made that painting look deep and amazing, with a certain sense of mystery (神秘). Intrigued by the mystery, Justman’s journey with the Shu Road system began in 2001. Since then, she has hiked the “greatest road” in China 24 times in 24 years. “It is a timeless experience for me,” she says. She can’t forget walking on the ancient flagstones under the shade of the centuries-old cypresses (柏树). In 2007, Justman published (出版) her book, Guide to Hiking China’s Old Road to Shu. She still remembers the biggest challenge in writing it: finding the real road. When she finally found a section of the road system with the help of the locals, she was very excited. That gave her hope that “more sections of the road to Shu might have survived (留存).” Justman believes that readers will find her book very helpful, as most of them do not know the ancient road still exists and can be hiked for many hours. In October this year, the Chinese version of her book was published. The Three Kingdoms period is Justman’s favorite part of the road’s history. Many of the battles between Shu and Wei took place here. Many towns along the road still have temples to honor the heroes of that time. Justman’s love for the ancient road system never fades (褪色), and she is pleased to see that China has worked hard to protect it. Big projects have been carried out to improve its condition. For example, broken stones have been fixed and benches (长椅) have been added for hikers. But this raises an interesting question. Li Bai and Du Fu described in their poems how dangerous it could be to travel along the road. But if both great poets were alive today, would they be inspired to write any new poems? Justman says, “No.” 36.What is Shu Road like in Hope Justman’s eyes? A.Just one place in Li Bai’s poem. B.An amazing living history record. C.A place too hard to hike. D.A nice and modern road system. 37.How many times has Justman hiked the “greatest road” in China in 24 years? A.24 times. B.20 times. C.2007 times. D.2024 times. 38.What is Paragraph 3 mainly about? A.The source of inspiration B.The influence of the book on readers. C.The difficulties in publishing. D.The process and challenges in writing. 39.Put the following events in the correct order. a. Justman visited an exhibition in Boston. b. Justman published the Chinese version of her book. c. Justman began her journey with the Shu Road system. d. Understanding color influences helps us make better choices in life, study and environment. 16.What effect may too much red bring? A.Relaxed. B.Nervous. C.Peaceful. D.Tired. 17.Why do offices often use blue? A.To make people excited. B.To help people relax. C.To make people eat quickly. D.To increase energy. 18.What does the underlined word “pressure” mean? That is why offices and bedrooms often use blue to create a peaceful feeling”,即蓝色能降低压力、帮助人们放松,所以办公室经常使用蓝色。 18.第三段提到“Blue is widely seen as a calm color. It lowers pressure and helps people relax”,结合常识可知蓝色能让人放松,那么降低的应该是让人焦虑、疲惫的那种感觉,所以“pressure”意思是“the feeling of being worried and tired”。 19.最后一段提到“Shops use soft colors to make people stay longer”,由此可以推断出柔和的颜色可能会使人们在商店里停留更长时间。 20.文章开篇点明颜色对人的影响比大多数人意识到的要强烈,接着分别阐述了不同颜色带来的影响以及商业中对颜色的运用等,所以最佳标题是“Colors and Their Influences”。 抢分05 科技新发展(无人机的发展及应用) (25-26九年级下·湖北武汉·月考)The Chinese-made aircraft (国产飞机) are playing an important role in protecting the country’s green mountains. They will reduce the influence of natural disasters on the country and protect people’s lives and property. 21.In recent years, the Chinese-made aircraft have been used for dealing with ________. ①forest fires   ②technology   ③spring drought   ④social wealth A.①② B.①③ C.②④ D.③④ 22.What do we know about the UAVs in the task of Yajiang according to the passage? A.①②/③/④⑤ B.①②/③④/⑤ C.①/②③/④⑤ D.①②③/④/⑤ 【答案】26.B 27.C 28.D 29.A 30.B 【解析】本文主要介绍了“动物身上的假眼”的特征及其作用。 26.根据“aren’t for seeing”及“can’t see at all”可知,这些“眼睛”并不是真正的视觉器官,因此“fake”表示“不真实的”。 27.根据“they are just designs, or patterns”可知眼状斑点是动物身体不同部位的特殊图案。 28.根据“Scientists believe that eyespots send strong messages to other animals.”可知,以孔雀为例,说明眼状斑点用于吸引配偶,也就是解释传递信息的用途。 29.根据“The four-eyed frog of South America has eyespots on its bottom. When in danger, it turns around and shows large eyespots on its body. Filled with poison (毒液), these eyespots can harm anyone who tries to bite the frog and can even cause death.”可知四眼蛙的眼状斑点充满致命毒液。 30.文章第一和二段引出“假眼”并解释“假眼”的本质;第三和四段介绍了“假眼”的用途;第五点总结“假眼”的重要作用。应是总——分——总的结构。 抢分07 人与自然(可再生资源的利用) (2026·福建福州·一模)One report by Ember, a global energy group, says the world’s solar and wind farms produced more electricity than coal power plants for the first time. Besides, wind power grew by over 7%. Together, they filled nearly all of the global growth in electricity demand.”可知,This milestone指的是上文提到的“增长迅猛的风能和太阳能几乎满足了全球用电增长”。故选C。 32.主旨大意题。根据“China added more renewable energy than the rest of the world together.”及整段内容可知,本段主要讲中国在清洁能源方面的巨大投入及领先地位,强调其对全球清洁能源的贡献。故选B。 33.推理判断题。根据“In 2024, China’s coal use increased by 1.7% compared with 2023, while its share of total energy use fell by 1.6%.”可知,2024 年中国的煤炭使用量比 2023 年上升 1.7%,而煤炭占总体能源的比例下降 1.6%,故图中应体现2024年煤炭使用量的柱状比2023年更高,而代表所占比例的折线则应比2023年更低。故选A。 34.推理判断题。根据“in the U. S. , electricity demand grew faster than renewables growth, leading to a 17% rise in coal power in the first half of 2025.”可知,美国2025年上半年电力需求增长超过了新能源增长,导致煤电使用量上升17%,可见美国是通过“增加煤电使用”来应对能源需求。故选B。 35.最佳标题题。通读全文可知,本文主要介绍全球范围内可再生能源所占比重不断上升,并首次超过煤电。故选项B“全球能源:可再生能源占比上升”符合本文标题。故选B。 抢分08 人与社会(对文化与文物的保护) (2025·福建泉州·二模)“The road to Shu is difficult, even more difficult than climbing to the blue sky,” as Li Bai’s poem goes. 39.Put the following events in the correct order. a. Justman visited an exhibition in Boston. b. Justman published the Chinese version of her book. c. Justman began her journey with the Shu Road system. d. Justman published her book Guide to Hiking China’s Old Road to Shu. A.c-a-d-b B.a-d-c-b C.a-c-d-b D.c-d-a-b 40.Why does Justman say “No” at the end of the article? A.Because Shu Road system needs to be rebuilt. B.Because Shu Road system has lost its historical value. C.Because Shu Road system is not as dangerous as it used to. D.Because the protection project destroyed the beauty of the road. 【答案】36.B 37.A 38.D 39.C 40.C 【解析】本文讲述了美国学者Hope Justman对蜀道的热爱与研究,以及她为推广和保护蜀道所做的努力。 36.细节理解题。根据“She sees it as a living record of history worthy of UNESCO World Heritage status.”可知,Hope Justman认为蜀道是一部鲜活的历史记录,值得被列入联合国教科文组织世界遗产名录。故选B。 37.细节理解题。根据“Since then, she has hiked the ‘greatest road’ in China 24 times in 24 years.”可知,Justman在24年间徒步蜀道24次。故选A。 38.主旨大意题。根据“She still remembers the biggest challenge in writing it: finding the real road.”及本段内容可知,本段主要讲述了Justman写书的过程和挑战。故选D。 39.细节理解题。根据“She visited an exhibition in Boston when she was in college, where a painting drew her attention.”可知,Justman在大学时参观波士顿展览,即a;根据“Intrigued by the mystery, Justman’s journey with the Shu Road system began in 2001.”可知,在2001年开始探索蜀道,即c;根据“In 2007, Justman published (出版) her book, Guide to Hiking China’s Old Road to Shu.”可知,2007年出版书籍,即d;根据“In October this year, the Chinese version of her book was published.”可知,今年10月,出版了该书籍的中文版,即b。因此正确顺序是a-c-d-b。故选C。 40.推理判断题。根据“Big projects have been carried out to improve its condition. ...
