1. Present a picture of a busy kitchen and have students brainstorm what accidents may
happen in the kitchen,especially while cooking. The teacher can encourage students to
brainstorm based on their own real-life situations.
2. Present a list of common kitchen accidents with corresponding pictures. Invite some students
to share what should be done if these accidents happen.
