二、阅读理解。
The deep sea is one of the least explored places on Earth. It starts about 200 metres below the ocean's surface, where sunlight cannot reach. This area is in permanent darkness and is extremely cold.
Despite the harsh conditions, life exists here. Many deep-sea creatures produce their own light through a process called bioluminescence to attract prey or mates. The anglerfish, for example, has a glowing lure on its head to trick smaller fish.

Exploring the deep sea is challenging for humans because of the immense water pressure. Special submarines called submersibles are built with strong materials to withstand the pressure and allow scientists to study this unique environment.
We know more about the surface of the Moon than we do about the deep ocean floor. Scientists believe that there are millions of species in the deep sea that are still unknown to us, making it a true final frontier for discovery.#4
