How to say these numbers in English?
Presentation
How do we change a cardinal number ending in -y into its ordinal number? Please give one or two examples.
If a cardinal number ends in -y, we first change -y into -ie and then add -th to form its ordinal number.
e.g. forty → fortieth sixty → sixtieth

We start with the largest part and move down to the smallest.
We put and between “hundred/thousand” and numbers below a hundred.
