1.______ I say, he always disagrees.
A.Whoever B.However C.Wherever D.Whatever
A. say后面缺少宾语,whoever=no matter who;however=no matter how;wherever=no matter where;whatever=no matter what。
2.She reached the top of the hill and stopped _______ on a big rock
A.rested B.resting C.to rest D.rest
A. rested过去式,休息;B. resting现在分词或动名词,休息;C. to rest动词不定式;D. rest动词,休息。根据国定搭配stop doing sth., 停止做某事,表示停止正在做的事情;stop to do sth.
3.—Is it a very difficult problem?
—Yes,it is. So ________ students can work it out.
A.much B.few C.little D.more
【答案】B
【知识点】a few/few/a little/little
Much, little修饰不可数名词,故排除A,C;more表示“较多的”,与题意不符;few表示“几乎没有”。故选B。
4.They plan to write some notices and ________after school.
A.give away them B.give them away C.hand out them D.hand them out
5.--- She’s already been back to Wuxi, ________?
--- ________. She is on a visit to Shanghai.
A.isn’t she; No B.hasn’t she; Yes C.isn’t she; Yes D.hasn’t she; No
6. I became a student ten years _________. I have been a student ________1996. I have studied here ________ about 10 years.
A.ago, since, for B.ago, for, since, C.ago, before, for D.ago, in, after
【答案】A
【知识点】含since/for的现在完成时、before、ago
ago以前;since自从;for后接一段时间;before在……之前;after在…… about 10 years是一段时间,要与for连用,故选A。
7.I remembered _____ the light just now. but it’s on now.
A.to turn off B.to turn on C.turning off D.turning on
考点:remember doing sth和remember to do sth之间的区别
8.He’s gone to the library ,_______ he ?
A.isn’t B.doesn’t C.hasn’t D.wasn’t
9.I my homework at home this morning.
A.forgot B.have forgotten C.leave D.left
10.If it fine tomorrow,we a picnic.
A.be ; have B.is ; will have C.will be ; will have D.will be ; have
11.If you don’t go to the concert, ________.
A.so will I B.so do I C.neither do I D.neither shall I
12.—Would you mind if I ask my cousin to join us?
—________. The more, the better.
A.Not at all B.Of course C.Never mind D.You’d better not
【答案】A
Not at all一点也不;Of course当然;Never mind没关系;You’d better not你最好不要。根据“The more, the better.” 故选A。
13.—Why tomatoes again? I really get bored with them.
—Well, I thought you liked them. You ________them after all.
A.used to eat B.used to eating C.were used to eat D.are used to
【答案】A
【知识点】be used to doing sth.、be used to sth.、used to do sth.
used to do sth. be used to doing sth.习惯于做某事;be used to do被用来做某事。根据“I thought you liked them”可知,此处表示过去常常做某事;此处使用used to do。故选A。
14.My father ________ in the factory since 1980.
A.works B.worked C.has worked D.is working
【答案】C
【知识点】含since/for的现在完成时
15.—Shall I feed the rabbits for you?
—Sure. I ________ them yet. They must be hungry now.
A.have fed B.haven’t fed C.have caught D.haven’t caught
根据yet可知,句子应用现在完成时,且yet常用于否定句,排除A、C项;结合“They must be hungry now.”

Kendra sat at the kitchen table signing Valentine’s Day (圣瓦伦丁节) cards for kids in her class. She hoped she would get a valentine from everyone. She knew she didn’t talk much. She often wished she could chat and laugh the way other kids did, but most of the time she felt too shy to say anything.
Kendra’s mother came into the kitchen. “I just heard that Elise broke her leg yesterday. Why don’t you pick out a valentine and take it over?”
Elise was their neighbor. Kendra picked out the biggest valentine and ran to Elise’s house. As Kendra passed the life-size deer statue (雕像) in Elise’s front yard, she stopped. She walked around it and studied it. Wouldn’t this deer look cool with a big heart around its neck? Elise could look out of the window and see it decorated for Valentine’s Day.
Kendra found the big red valentine heart Grandma had given her and attached a piece of yarn to it and hung it around the deer’s neck like a necklace.
The next day while she was waiting for the school bus, Kendra looped small hearts around the deer’s antlers. When she stepped onto the bus, Colin asked, “Can I help you add more decorations?”
“Sure. You can meet me this afternoon.”
Kendra was surprised she didn’t feel ________.
That afternoon, Colin showed up with a red blanket.
“It’s a saddle (鞍)!” he explained.
Kendra added sparkly heart-shaped stickers to the deer’s forehead!
Staci and Amy were walking down the sidewalk. “That looks so cute!” said Amy.
“I’ve some paper and markers in my backpack,” Staci said, “Do you wanna use them to make a sign?”
“That’s a great idea!” said Kendra.
The four of them took turns coloring. Happy Valentine s Day Elise! the sign said when they were done.
Just then, Elise’s front door opened, and Elise stuck her head out. “You did this for me? Wow! Thank you!” She grinned. “Can I help you surprise someone else for the next holiday?”
“Of course!” Kendra said. She felt feather light. What a fun way to cheer someone up, she thought.

January 20, 2025, a Chinese tech company named Deep Seek made a new AI called DeepSeek-R1. This smart program can solve math problems, write code, and answer questions like top models such as Open AI’s GPT-40, but it costs much less to build. The team spent only $5.58 million (1/70 of Open AI’s cost) and used 2,048 computer chips for two months. This shows that good ideas can beat big money.
DeepSeek-R1 learns by trying many times and getting better, like how students practice maths. Other AIs need lots of prepared examples, but Rl improves by itself. For example, in a global math test, it got 79.8% right, slightly higher than Open AI’s model. A simple version of Rl can even run on low-cost computers, helping schools and small companies.
DeepSeek-Rl is free to use and change. On its first day online, over 19,000 programmers worldwide started projects to study it. A German scientist said experiments with R1 cost $10 instead of $300 with other AIs. Even Meta (a famous U. S. tech company) top scientist said, “This kind of free AI could change the world.”
U. S. tech companies are worried. Meta plans to spend $65 billion more on AI research. Experts say China is catching up fast. A report in Nature magazine called R1 a “big step forward”, proving that smart ideas beat expensive tools.
As a Deep Seek engineer said, “We want AI to be a friend, not something only rich people can use.” With R1, China shows the world that great things come from new ideas and hard work, not just money.
42.What is the main purpose of the article?
A.To compare Chinese and American AI technologies.
B.To introduce a low-cost AI model from China.
C.To explain how computer chips work.
D.To encourage students to become programmers.
43.What does “improves by itself” mean in the article?
A.It needs programmers to fix mistakes. B.It only works with expensive tools.
C.It copies answers from other AIs . D.It becomes better through practice.
44.Why did Meta plan to spend more money on AI research?
A.To help Chinese companies.
B.To build more computer chips.
C.Because they were worried about DeepSeek-R1.
D.To hire German scientists.
45.What does the writer think is the most important for success?
A.Creativity and hard work. B.Smart ideas and expensive tools.

Just then, Elise’s front door opened, and Elise stuck her head out. “You did this for me? Wow! Thank you!” She grinned. “Can I help you surprise someone else for the next holiday?”

C.Using the latest computer chips. D.Copying other countries’ ideas.

Just then, Elise’s front door opened, and Elise stuck her head out. “You did this for me? Wow! Thank you!” She grinned. “Can I help you surprise someone else for the next holiday?”

C.Using the latest computer chips. D.Copying other countries’ ideas.

Blind football is also played by two teams on the field. Each team is made up of four blind people and a goalkeeper (守门员) with sight. In China, a group of blind football players formed a team in November 2006. Compared with the national football team, it’s not a professional one. Wang Guishun, who has been working as the team’s coach for 14 years, is a role model for the players. They have learned a lot from him.
