明晰规则

1.意义：动词-ing形式作主语往往表示一般性的、习惯性的行为；其被动形式为being done；其否定形式需要在动词-ing前面加not。

2.位置：①动词-ing形式位于句首；② it作形式主语时，将动词-ing形式后置。常见句型有：It is no good/no use/useless/a waste of time+doing sth.，意为“做某事是没有好处的/没有用处的/无用的/浪费时间的”。

3.逻辑主语：动词-ing形式作主语时，如果要突出动作的执行者，要在其前面加上动作的逻辑主语，这个逻辑主语通常为形容词性物主代词或名词所有格。

4.谓语动词的单复数：①动词-ing形式作主语时，谓语动词通常用第三人称单数形式；②两个或两个以上表达不同意义的动词-ing形式作主语时，谓语动词用复数形式。
