Most of the people growing up in big cities have never ridden a horse, but we often use “horse words” in our daily language. These words remind us of the important roles horses once played in history.
One common example is “horsepower”. This term is used to measure the power of engines. It was created by James Watt, a British engineer, in the 1760s. Climbing coconut trees is a popular sport in Hainan. It recently became an exciting competition in the 12th National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities. On November 21 my friends and I attended the event to feel the excitement of the race.

Most of the people growing up in big cities have never ridden a horse, but we often use “horse words” in our daily language. These words remind us of the important roles horses once played in history.
One common example is “horsepower”. This term is used to measure the power of engines. It was created by James Watt, a British engineer, in the 1760s.
