During this time, being around family members is a vital tradition for the Chinese people. Usually, families gather together for a dinner on New Year’s Eve, exchange red envelopes filled with money, and set off fireworks. Bearing the ideas of peace and harmony and carrying the values of humanity, the Spring festival is the most important festival in China. 第二节(满分25分)    Joey listened quietly, his eyes downcast. After a long silence, he looked up at me. There was a firm look in his eyes. He showed that he knew it was hard, but he really wanted to keep going. The competition meant the world to him as he had been training so hard for it. He wouldn’t give up easily just because of this setback. His determination surprised me. I could see the strong will in him that refused to be defeated by difficulties. That day, as Joey stood at the starting line, he looked more determined than ever. When the whistle blew, he rushed out with all his strength. Despite his physical condition, he ran with great speed and passion. The audience cheered loudly for him. He ignored the pain and the possible failure. He just focused on running towards the finish line. Finally, he crossed it with a big smile on his face. He had proved himself and shown that nothing could stop him from chasing his dreams. ………………○……………… … 学校:______________姓名:_____________班级:_______________考号:______________________ 2025-2026学年高一下学期期中真题重组卷01 英 语 (满分150分,考试用时120分钟) 注意事项: 1. 1.Where does the woman want to go? I had always lived in the city, and the idea of spending two months in a place where life moved at a slower pace was both exciting and intimidating Little did I know, this experience would change my perspective on life and help me grow in ways I never expected. The community center served as a center for local activities, offering after-school programs for children, English classes for adults, and support for elderly residents. My main role was to assist with the children’s programs. Every morning, I helped organize games, art projects, and reading sessions. At first, I struggled to connect with the kids. Many of them were shy, and I felt unsure of how to engage them. But over time, I learned to be patient and creative. I started using storytelling and hands-on activities to capture their attention, and soon, the classroom was filled with laughter and enthusiasm. One of the most memorable moments was when a young girl named Lily, who had barely spoken a word during the first week, finally opened up. She shared her dream of becoming a teacher and even helped me lead a reading session. Seeing her confidence grow was incredibly rewarding and reminded me of the impact small actions can have. By the end of the summer, I had not only developed new skills but also gained a deeper understanding of myself. I learned to adapt to unfamiliar situations, communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds, and appreciate the simple joys of life. This experience inspired me to continue volunteering and to approach challenges with a more open mind. 24.What was the author’s primary role at the community center? A.Teaching English to adults. B.Helping with children’s programs. C.Supporting for elderly residents. D.Offering after-school programs for children. 25.What did the author do to connect with the children? A.He gave them gifts. B.He became more patient and creative: C.He organized daily games and art projects. D.He employed storytelling and practical activities. 26.How did the author feel about Lily’s progress? A.Surprised. B.Relieved. C.Fulfilled. D.Relaxed. 27.What can we learn about the author’s personal growth from the last paragraph? A.Gained self-awareness and adaptability. B.Developed a focus on technical expertise C.Strengthened commitment to community service. D.Prioritized academic achievements over experiences. C(24-25高一下·江苏盐城·期中) Every time AI creates an e-mail or an image, the planet pays for it. Making two images can consume as much energy as charging a smartphone. By 2027, the global AI industry could annually consume as much electricity as the Netherlands. And a new study identifies another concern: generative AI applications alone could add 1.2 million to five million tons of this harmful trash to the planet by 2030. Such a contribution would add to the tens of millions of tons of electronic products the globe abandons annually. Cell phones, computers and other digital products often contain mercury (汞), lead or other poisons. When improperly disposed of (处理), they can pollute air, water and soil. In 2022, about 78% of the world’s e-waste end up in landfills or at unofficial recycling sites, where laborers risk their health to clean up rare metals. The AI boom (热潮) rapidly consumes data storage devices and high-performance components, which are usually replaced when new versions (版本) are available. To calculate the e-waste contribution, researchers examined hardware use, lifespan, and the industry’s growth rate. Their prediction could change based on various factors. This study’s biggest value comes from its attention to AI’s broad environmental impacts, says Shaolei Ren, a researcher at the University of California, Riverside. “We might want AI companies to slow down a bit,” he says. Few countries mandate (强制) the proper disposal of e-waste, and those that do often fail to carry out their existing laws on it. Twenty-five U. S. states have e-waste management policies, but there is no federal law that requires electronics recycling. Thankfully, some companies declare to be taking independent action. Microsoft and Google have promised to reach net zero waste and net zero emissions respectively by 2030. They have many options to limit e-waste. It’s possible to extract more life out of servers, for instance, through regular maintenance and updates or by putting worn-out devices into less-demanding applications. These strategies are vital to reduce e-waste and benefit society, the study authors say. 28.What can be inferred from Paragraph 1? A.The Netherlands consumes too much electricity. B.The disadvantages of AI outweigh the advantages. C.The environmental impact of AI is extremely large and worrying. D.AI’s energy-related issues largely result from image-making. 29.What is Shaolei Ren’s attitude toward the growth of AI companies? A.Critical. B.Positive. C.Cautious. D.Distant. 30.What is the key to reducing e-waste? A.Adjusting AI application frequency. B.Stressing smartphone recycling. C.Banning the overuse of AI completely. D.Lengthening the lifespan of devices. 31.What is the best title for the text? A.AI May Worsen the E-waste Crisis B.E-waste Calls for Proper Use of AI C.E-waste Problems Mostly Blame on AI D.AI and E-waste Always Go Hand in Hand D(24-25高一下·江苏镇江·期中) A prehistoric fossil uncovered in Antarctica could be the oldest modern bird ever found and an ancestor of today’s ducks and geese. The discovery could help scientists continue piecing together the long evolutionary history of birds. The nearly complete bird skull is about 69 million years old. Called Vegavis iaai, it belongs to a species of waterfowl (birds that include ducks, geese, and swans) that lived at the same time as dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus rex. Only the duck-like species survived when all dinosaurs that were not avian died out about 66 million years ago. The mystery of Vegavis iaai began in 1993, when researchers discovered the fossil of a bird on Vega Island in Antarctica. It did not have a skull, which made it difficult to fully identify. Julia Clarke, a paleontologist (scientist who studies fossils) at the University of Texas, Austin, was one of the scientists who found the first fossil. She thought it was related to modern waterfowl but couldn’t prove that without the creature’s skull. Then, in 2011, researchers found a skull on Vega Island. They recently confirmed that it was a match for the skeleton from 1993, which provided an opportunity to determine whether Vegavis iaai was connected to today’s ducks and geese. The researchers created a digital 3D model of the Vegavis iaai skull, which showed that its brain was shaped like the brains of today’s ducks and geese. However, it had a long, narrow beak and powerful jaw muscles that made it different from waterfowl and more like modern birds that dive and catch fish. Despite the range of characteristics, the study’s authors believe Vegavis iaai is related to today’s waterfowl. “It’s exactly the kind of thing we need to help fill in an evolutionary gap” Christopher Torres, a co-author of the new study, told The New York Times. Other scientists are not convinced, however, and argue that more fossils of the species are needed to fully confirm the findings. Torres and his colleagues understand that there is more work to be done to support their findings and that their conclusions are controversial. “Few birds are as likely to start as many arguments among paleontologists as Vegavis.” Torres told Science News. 32.What does the underlined word “avian” in Paragraph 2 most likely mean? A.Related to water. B.Related to birds. C.Similar to dinosaurs. D.Related to fish. 33.Why is the discovery in 1993 mentioned? A.To explain the challenges in confirming the identity of Vegavis iaai. B.To describe the process of fossil preservation in Antarctica. C.To highlight Julia Clarke’s contributions to paleontology. D.To introduce the final conclusion about Vegavis iaai’s evolution. 34.Which of the following is TRUE according to the text? A.The 1993 fossil included a complete skull. B.Vegavis iaai lived only after the extinction of all dinosaurs. C.The study’s conclusions are widely accepted by all scientists. D.Vegavis iaai had a brain shape similar to modern fish-catching birds. 35.What will the follow-up study probably focus on? A.Creating more 3D models of ancient bird brains. B.Studying the impact of dinosaur extinction on waterfowl. C.Finding more fossils of Vegavis iaai to confirm its relationship to modern birds. D.Analyzing the differences in jaw muscles between Vegavis iaai and diving birds. (24-25高一下·浙江杭州·期中)A robot is chatting to an elderly British man in his bedroom. 36 . Perhaps because of the man’s age, the robot starts asking him about his memories of the Second World War. The elderly man goes on to tell how his father was in the army, and he hasn’t seen him for years. 37 . The behavior is the product of the Caresses project which aims to design robots that can take into account the cultural background of the person they’re talking to. The man is British, so the robot thinks he will be interested in such a topic, regardless of the man’s personal feelings. Cultural robotics is part of a wider movement to make robotics more culturally inclusive. 38 For example, because the Internet is mainly in English, large language models are primarily trained on English text — with the cultural biases (偏见) existing. Similarly, the move to make robots more culturally sensitive means well, but people are worried about where it could lead, considering the diverse cultural preferences across different social groups. Humans from different cultures react differently to robots. For example, different cultures have different expectations around personal space, and this affects how far they prefer robots to stand from them. 39 People are more able to understand a robot if it uses the facial expressions they are familiar with. Culture is a complex concept, open to various explanations. 40 . To avoid designing robots based on stereotypes (刻板印象), we will need to be more thoughtful. A.It has a pleasantly bright voice. B.Does this topic really hold a person’s interest C.However, concerns about this have been raised. D.This practice is widely recognized across cultures. E.Therefore, a one-size-fits-all approach is impractical. F.Why does a robot mention a topic that may cause pain? G.Different cultures interpret facial expressions differently too. 第三部分 语言运用(共两节,满分30分) 第一节 (共15小题;每小题1分,满分15分) 阅读下面短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项 (24-25高一下·浙江杭州·期中)It was 6 p. m. on Chinese New Year’s Eve. The doctors told us that with treatment he would be able to walk normally—but would never run very well. The first three years of his life were spent in operations. By the time he was eight, people wouldn’t know he had a problem when they saw him walk. The children in our neighborhood ran around as most children do during play, and Joey would jump right in and run and play, too. We never told him that he probably wouldn’t be able to run as well as the other children. So he didn’t know. In seventh grade he decided to try out for the cross-country running team. Every day he trained with the team. He worked harder and ran more than any of the others—perhaps he sensed that the abilities that seemed to come naturally to so many others did not come naturally to him. Although the entire team runs, only the top seven runners have the chance to score points for the school. We didn’t tell him that he probably would never make the team, so he didn’t know. He continued to run four to five miles a day, every day — even the day he had a fever. I was worried, so I went to look for him after school. When I found him running on the track with a flushed face, I knew I had to tell him the truth. I called him over and sat him down on a bench. With a heavy heart, I told him about his condition and that it might be too much for him to keep training and participate in the competition. Joey listened quietly, his eyes lowered. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ That day, as Joey stood at the starting line, he looked more determined than ever. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 试题 第3页(共6页) 试题 第4页(共6页) 试题 第11页(共12页) 试题 第12页(共12页) 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 2025-2026学年高一下学期期中真题重组卷01 英 语 (满分150分,考试用时120分钟) 注意事项: 1. 1.Where does the woman want to go? ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 1 / 23 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $听力考试正式开始。Excuse me, driver, are you sure we're going the right way? I prefer to go outdoors and spend my free time in some different places with some different people. The first reason for outdoor activities is that I have spent too much time indoors. Most of the time I sit in the classroom listening to the teachers and doing my exercises, the indoor activities are too limited. Fresh air, sunlight and enough physical exercise are needed for a healthy body. So when I am free, I should go out. The second reason is that I want to have more experiences in my life. When you go out far away from your daily life, you will meet a lot of people who are quite different from you. I will give you a lot of exciting experiences. However, outdoor activities will take a lot of money and energy, so if you have not prepared enough, having some amusement indoors is also a good choice, which would be cheaper and easier to Carry out. Reading some books and enjoying music are also very good. With the development of science and technology, people have more spare time, but how do we spend the free time? I prefer to go outdoors and spend my free time in some different places with some different people. The first reason for outdoor activities is that I have spent too much time indoors. Most of the time, I sit in the classroom listening to the teachers and doing my exercises. The indoor activities are too limited. Fresh air, sunlight and enough physical exercise are needed for a healthy body. So when I am free, I should go out. The second reason is that I want to have more experiences in my life. 根据第二段中“My main role was to assist with the children’s programs. A.AI May Worsen the E-waste Crisis B.E-waste Calls for Proper Use of AI C.E-waste Problems Mostly Blame on AI D.AI and E-waste Always Go Hand in Hand 【答案】28.C 29.C 30.D 31.A 【导语】本文为一篇说明文。主要介绍的是人工智能发展带来的电子垃圾问题及其对环境的潜在影响。 28.推理判断题。根据文章第一段“Every time AI creates an e-mail or an image, the planet pays for it. Microsoft and Google have promised to reach net zero waste and net zero emissions respectively by 2030. They have many options to limit e-waste. It’s possible to extract more life out of servers, for instance, through regular maintenance and updates or by putting worn-out devices into less-demanding applications. These strategies are vital to reduce e-waste and benefit society, the study authors say.(值得庆幸的是,一些公司声称正在采取独立行动。 故选A项。 D(24-25高一下·江苏镇江·期中) A prehistoric fossil uncovered in Antarctica could be the oldest modern bird ever found and an ancestor of today’s ducks and geese. 【答案】32.B 33.A 34.D 35.C 【导语】本文是一篇说明文。文章主要讲述了在南极洲发现的一种古老鸟类化石Vegavis iaai,及其对研究现代鸟类进化关系的意义和争议。 32.词句猜测题。根据第二段中“Called Vegavis iaai, it belongs to a species of waterfowl (birds that include ducks, geese, and swans) that lived at the same time as dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus rex. Only the duck-like species survived when all dinosaurs that were not avian died out about 66 million years ago. (这种生物被称为维加鸟(Vegavis iaai),它属于水禽物种(包括鸭子、鹅和天鹅在内的鸟类),与霸王龙等恐龙生活在同一时期。大约 6600 万年前,当所有非avian恐龙灭绝时,只有类似鸭子的物种存活了下来)”可知,在恐龙大灭绝时,非“avian”的恐龙灭绝了,而类似鸭子的鸟类存活了下来,所以“avian”指的是与鸟类有关的。故选B。 33.推理判断题。根据第三段中“The mystery of Vegavis iaai began in 1993, when researchers discovered the fossil of a bird on Vega Island in Antarctica. It did not have a skull, which made it difficult to fully identify. (Vegavis iaai的神秘故事始于1993年,当时研究人员在南极洲的维加岛上发现了一只鸟类的化石。它没有头骨,这使得很难完全确定其身份)”可推知,1993年的发现被提及是为了解释确认Vegavis iaai身份所面临的挑战。故选A。 34.细节理解题。根据第五段中“The researchers created a digital 3D model of the Vegavis iaai skull, which showed that its brain was shaped like the brains of today’s ducks and geese. However, it had a long, narrow beak and powerful jaw muscles that made it different from waterfowl and more like modern birds that dive and catch fish. (然而,其他科学家并不信服,并认为需要更多该物种的化石来完全证实这一发现)”以及最后一段中“Torres and his colleagues understand that there is more work to be done to support their findings and that their conclusions are controversial. (托雷斯和他的同事们明白,要支持他们的研究结果,还有更多工作要做,而且他们的结论存在争议)”可推知,后续研究可能会集中在寻找更多的Vegavis iaai化石,以确认它与现代鸟类的关系。故选C。 第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分) 阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。 (24-25高一下·浙江杭州·期中)A robot is chatting to an elderly British man in his bedroom. 【答案】36.A 37.F 38.C 39.G 40.E 【导语】本文是一篇说明文。文章围绕文化机器人技术展开,介绍了其相关项目,阐述了使人工智能和机器人技术更具文化包容性这一趋势以及面临的问题,如文化的多样性导致不同文化背景的人对机器人的反应不同,还指出需要更周全的视角来避免基于刻板印象设计机器人。 36.根据空前的“A robot is chatting to an elderly British man in his bedroom.(一个机器人正在一位英国老人的卧室里和他聊天。)”可知,此处描述机器人在与一位英国老人聊天,由此可知,此空应描述机器人的相关特征,A选项“It has a pleasantly bright voice. (它有着悦耳明亮的声音。)”进一步介绍了机器人的特点,使描述更具体,符合语境。故选A项。 37.根据空后的“The behavior is the product of the Caresses project which aims to design robots that can take into account the cultural background of the person they’re talking to. The man is British, so the robot thinks he will be interested in such a topic, regardless of the man’s personal feelings. 38.根据空前的“Cultural robotics is part of a wider movement to make robotics more culturally inclusive.(文化机器人学是使机器人学更具文化包容性的更广泛运动的一部分。)”以及空后的“Similarly, the move to make robots more culturally sensitive means well, but people are worried about where it could lead, considering the diverse cultural preferences across different social groups. (同样地,让机器人更具文化敏感性的举措初衷是好的,但考虑到不同社会群体存在多样化的文化偏好,人们担心这一举措可能会带来何种结果。)”可知,此处应体现人们对文化机器人学存在担忧,C选项“However, concerns about this have been raised. (然而,对此的担忧已经出现。)”与前文形成转折,引出下文人们的担忧,符合语境。故选C项。 39.根据空前的“For example, different cultures have different expectations around personal space, and this affects how far they prefer robots to stand from them.(例如,不同的文化对个人空间有不同的期望,这会影响他们希望机器人与自己保持的距离。)”以及空后的“People are more able to understand a robot if it uses the facial expressions they are familiar with.(如果机器人使用人们熟悉的面部表情,人们更容易理解它。)”可知,空前提到了不同文化背景的人对机器人的反应不同,空后提到了机器人使用人们熟悉的面部表情进行交流,所以,空处应承上启下,说明不同文化对机器人面部表情的反应也不同,G选项“Different cultures interpret facial expressions differently too. (不同的文化对面部表情的解读也不同。)”与前后文都围绕不同文化的差异展开,补充另一个文化差异的维度,与下文“熟悉的表情更易理解”直接相关,符合语境。故选G项。 40.根据空前的“Culture is a complex concept, open to various explanations.(文化是一个复杂的概念,可以有多种解释。)”可知,此处应说明由于文化的复杂性,通用的方法并不适用,E选项“Therefore, a one-size-fits-all approach is impractical. (因此,一刀切的方法是不切实际的。)”与空前为因果关系,是前文文化复杂性得出的结论。故选E项。 第三部分 语言运用(共两节,满分30分) 第一节 (共15小题;每小题1分,满分15分) 阅读下面短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项 (24-25高一下·浙江杭州·期中)It was 6 p. m. on Chinese New Year’s Eve. 注意: 1.续写词数应为150左右; 2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 Joey listened quietly, his eyes lowered. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ That day, as Joey stood at the starting line, he looked more determined than ever. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】     Joey listened quietly, his eyes downcast. 1】He showed that he knew it was hard, but he really wanted to keep going.(运用了 that 引导的宾语从句) 【高分句型 2】He had proved himself and shown that nothing could stop him from chasing his dreams.(运用了 that引导的宾语从句) 1 / 23 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
