[Tip] 用“正负选项特征”法巧解推理判断题 阅读理解中的推理判断题有一类是四个选项正负特征鲜明,也就是说四个选项中有三个意义表达负面的选项和一个意义表达正面的选项。那么该题的正确答案就是意义表达正面的选项,这种情况占多数。如果四个选项中有三个正面,一个负面,那么该题的正确答案就是意义表达负面的选项,这种情况极少。如果四个选项中,有两个正面和两个负面的表达,一般来说,正确答案为意义表达为正面的选项,然后,再结合文章的主旨大意,来判断两个正面选项中哪个为正确答案。如果四个选项中有两个负面,一个正面,一个中性的表达,那么,也要结合文章的主旨大意作出合理判断。 本题四个选项就具备“三负一正”的特点。    5.The text is most likely to be taken from ________. I didn't know what to expect,” Xie Lei recalled. 赏析:句中的excited用得恰到好处,此处为形容词,意为“感到兴奋的”。谢蕾对于初次乘飞机离开中国到伦敦学习感到兴奋,也体现了主人公激动的心情,同时与后文的nervous形成对比。 2.“My ambition is to set up a business in China after graduation,” she explained. 赏析:句中的ambition一词形象地表达出了谢蕾未来的打算,同时也从侧面体现出谢蕾到英国伦敦学习的意图。此处ambition为名词,意为“追求的目标;夙愿;野心;抱负”。 3.When I got lost, I had to ask passers­by for help, but people here speak fast and use words I'm not familiar with. I ask them to repeat themselves a lot! 赏析:句中使用repeat一词,从侧面说明了谢蕾初到英国伦敦时遇到的困难,同时也体现出她作为交换生虚心学习的态度。 ①I was excited_and_nervous when standing on the stage, and my heart was beating fast. 当站在舞台上时,我既兴奋又紧张,心跳得很快。 ②I have_great_ambition to achieve my goals, working hard with full energy. 我有着实现目标的伟大抱负,精力充沛,努力工作。 ③She kept repeating_the_name_softly over and over again. 她轻轻地一遍又一遍地重复着这个名字。 (二)赏句式之高  The first time that she had to write an essay, her tutor explained that she must acknowledge what other people had said if she cited their ideas, but that he mainly wanted to know what she thought! 赏析:主句是“her tutor explained ...”,第一层从句是The first time that ...;第二层从句是两个that引导的宾语从句,它们都作explained的宾语。第三层从句是两个what引导的宾语从句,且第一个what引导的宾语从句中又包含一个if引导的条件状语从句。该句式虽然结构复杂,但是意义表达清晰且富有逻辑性。 At that moment, I suddenly realized that_they_had_done_what they could to help me.在那一刻,我突然意识到,他们为帮助我已经尽了最大努力。 (三)赏衔接之顺  As well as studying hard, I've been involved in social activities. 赏析:句中as well as 意为“除了……外”,其后常接名词或动名词。该词的使用增强了文章的可读性,使衔接更顺畅。表达“除了……外”的词汇还有“besides, but, apart from, in addition to”等。 As_well_as_learning_to_swim,_he has been taking Spanish lessons this summer. 今年夏天,他除了学习游泳外,还在上西班牙语课。 随着经济的发展和国际地位的提高,中国也越来越受到外国留学生的青睐。许多外国留学生前来中国学习,他们在接触中国文化的过程中,逐渐喜欢并爱上了中国和中国的优秀文化,为中西方文化的沟通与交流搭建起了一座桥梁。 I always dreamed of studying abroad, to learn at a world­class university while further ① exploring the grounds on which these nations achieved new milestones of development with each passing day.
