教学目标

1. 掌握与印度文化相关的词汇（如 curry, rude）及句型（如 In India, people..., it's...to...）。能运用目标语言完成关于文化话题的情景对话。
2. 学会通过上下文和听力材料梳理文化话题的顺序。掌握小组合作探究文化差异的学习策略。
3. 了解印度的社会背景、饮食习惯（咖喱）、见面礼仪（Namaste）、着装习俗等。培养“尊重与包容”（Respect, Inclusiveness）的跨文化意识，理解不同文化习俗背后的逻辑。

理解文化习俗背后的深层逻辑，并能用英语进行得体表达。

教学环节

Step 1: Warm-up and Lead-in

1. Activity: Show pictures of Indian curry and Namaste. Ask the question: "What do you know about India?" Lead students to use Chinese to share their knowledge and activate the atmosphere in class.

2. Transition: By performing the former activity, we lead into the topic: "Today we'll learn about Indian culture through English."             

设计意图：控制学生分享关于印度的观点时的情绪，激活课堂氛围。

Step 2: Fill in the blanks

1. Activity 1: Finish 2a blanks of cultural background, explain words like "curry", "rude" when checking all the answers.

2. Activity 2: Supplement Indian cultural background and help students understand cultural logics behind the words.             

设计意图：通过填空补充文化背景，帮助学生理解词汇背后的文化逻辑。

Step 3: Listening sequencing

1. Activity 1: Play the recording, students finish the sequencing task and preliminarily get the order of cultural topics.
