教学重难点
教学重点: 掌握交通相关核心词汇与目标句型,理解语篇主旨与细节信息。掌握说明文“时间顺序”的语篇结构,完成段落匹配、填空等阅读任务。
教学难点:准确梳理交通发展的时间线,理解不同发明对人类生活的深层影响。运用所学语言清晰、有条理地表达对交通发展的看法,畅想未来交通。
教学过程——主要思路
Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in
教师播放 1.5 分钟交通发展趣味短视频(包含古代马车、近代火车、现代高铁、未来飞行汽车等画面),视频暂停在关键交通方式画面,学生完成 “双任务”:
任务 1:抢答交通方式名称(用英文):Wagon! / Train! / High-speed train!
任务 2:用 “基础句型” 描述交通方式的功能与时代特征(教师提供支架):
It’s a ____ (wagon). People used it in the ____ (past).
The ____ (high-speed train) is a modern transportation. It helps people travel ____ (fast and far).
教师边听学生回答,边板书核心词汇(wagon, train, high-speed train, self-driving car, spaceship),带读 2 遍,强化词汇初认。
教师呈现 “Past, Present, Future” 三个时间维度,学生将刚才提到的交通方式对应归类,引导学生理解:Transportation has developed greatly over time, changing people’s lives. 为后续阅读做好铺垫。
设计意图:短视频情境更具代入感,双任务设计兼顾 “识别” 与 “表达”,激活生活经验的同时初认核心词汇;阶段归类让学生初步建立交通发展的时间线认知,为后续 “梳理交通发展脉络” 铺垫。
Step 2: Pre-reading
活动 1:
教师呈现核心词汇(wheel, wagon, train, car, high-speed train, self-driving car, spaceship, development, influence, convenience),结合交通发展阶段进行 “词汇 + 短语 + 句型” 的联动教学:
wheel:搭配短语 “invent the wheel”,句型:The invention of the wheel was a key step in transportation development.
high-speed train:搭配短语 “save time/convenient travel”,句型:China’s high-speed trains have greatly influenced people’s travel, making it faster and more convenient.
self-driving car:搭配短语 “automatic driving/safe travel”,句型:Self-driving cars may become popular in the future. They can help people avoid traffic accidents.
学生跟读短语与句型,教师纠正发音(如 wagon /ˈwæɡən/,self-driving /ˌself ˈdraɪvɪŋ/);
教师说交通发展阶段,学生抢答对应的核心词汇与短语,如T: Present! S: High-speed train! Save time!。
活动 2:
教师呈现课文标题与时间轴配图,引导学生以 “2 人一组” 完成迷你预测,在练习本上写 2 个预测问题(教师提供支架):
基础任务: What transportation ways are mentioned in the passage?
When was the train invented?
提升任务:How has transportation influenced people’s lives?
What will future transportation be like?
邀请 2 组学生分享预测问题,教师板书核心预测点,激发阅读兴趣。
设计意图:词汇与句型联动教学,避免孤立记忆;小组预测让每个学生都有思考机会,预测问题更具针对性,为阅读任务做好铺垫。
Step 3: While-reading
活动 1: Skimming
教师讲解略读策略:Skim the passage quickly, find the key transportation ways and the time order to get the main idea.
分层略读任务:
1.找出文中提到的交通方式,按时间顺序排列;
2.在基础层基础上,概括文章主旨(如:The passage talks about the development of transportation from the past to the future and its influence on people’s lives.)。
全班核对答案,教师用时间轴板书交通发展脉络:Wagon → Train → Car → High-speed train → Self-driving car → Spaceship。
活动 2: Scanning
教师讲解寻读策略:Scan the passage to find specific information about each transportation’s influence and key features.
分层寻读任务:学生精读全文,完成 “交通发展细节表”:

小组核对答案,教师抽查反馈,重点讲解核心句:With the development of transportation, people’s lives have been greatly changed. 分析 “with the development of...” 的用法和现在完成时 “have been changed” 的含义。
活动 3: Intensive reading
引导学生找出文中描述交通发展深层影响的句子,如:
The invention of the wheel made it easier for people to carry heavy things and travel farther.
High-speed trains have connected cities and promoted economic development.
教师讲解核心句型的拓展用法,带领学生仿写:
...has greatly influenced... → The development of high-speed trains has greatly influenced the development of tourism.
With the development of..., people can... → With the development of self-driving cars, people can travel more safely.
深度提问:How has transportation changed the way people work and study? 引导学生结合生活实际分享,深化对交通发展社会意义的理解。

Step 4: Post-reading
活动 1:
教师提出辩论话题:“Which is better for daily travel: high-speed trains or cars?” 4 人一组,分为正反两方(正方:High-speed trains are better. 反方:Cars are better.);
教师提供分层辩论支架:
支架1:I think ____ is better because it ____. For example, ____.
支架2:From my perspective, ____ is better for daily travel. First, it is ____ (faster/more convenient/cheaper). Second, it has less influence on ____ (the environment/traffic). Although ____ has some advantages, ____ is more practical in daily life.
小组讨论 2 分钟,进行 1.5 分钟迷你辩论,教师引导学生尊重不同观点,辩证看待不同交通方式的适用场景。
活动 2:
教师布置创意任务:“Design a new transportation way for our city. Introduce its name, development stage, function, advantages and why it’s needed.” 学生独立或两人合作完成 “未来交通提案”,教师提供分层设计支架:

小结:
教师在黑板上绘制核心知识思维导图,分为 4 个板块,让学生举手回答,教师填写内容,学生成为小结的主体:
