(一)如何推测态度
听力测试中常涉及推测态度题,因此在听录音时,你不仅要注意说话人所说的内容,还要注意说话人的语调、语音、语速、停顿等。如果人们强烈不同意某件事,他们可能会夸大自己的语调。如果你听到有人说话很快或很大声,他们可能很兴奋或生气。如果他们说得很慢或经常停下来,他们可能会感到困惑或不确定自己在说什么。推测说话者的态度,应注意一些有倾向性的词语和转折连词,如would rather, would like to, prefer, but 等。因为这类词语常常表达事与愿违的事实或后悔已做过的事情。

(二)升调
英语中的升调是一种相当复杂的语音现象。升调既可以用来表示说话人对所说的内容不肯定、表达的意思不完整,也可表示疑问、惊讶等情绪。最常见的使用升调的情况有:
1. 一般疑问句用升调:

2.选择疑问句的前半部分(即or之前的选项):

3.附加疑问句的后半部分,但把握较大时前后都降:
