(2)一句多译 我们正在呼吁公众更加关注环境保护。 ④We're appealing_to_the_public_to_pay more attention to environmental protection.(appeal v.) ⑤We're making_an_appeal_to_the_public_to_pay more attention to environmental protection.(appeal n.) 写作项目——Write a news report  本单元的写作任务是写一篇活动类的新闻报道。新闻报道是记叙文的一种,其特点是以事实为依据,对人的经历或事实给予明确的、实事求是的报道。写作过程中要保持事件的真实性、准确性,语言要准确、简练、通俗易懂,不必追求过分花哨的词语和过于复杂的句型。 由教材学写作 一、学文体架构 阅读课文,总结该文体的框架结构如下: 二、学要点构思 1.导语通常为新闻报道的首段,是新闻内容的提要。作为“新闻的灵魂”,导语往往通过新闻报道中的基本要素(即who、what、when、where、why和how)来简要介绍新闻的主题。如本文开篇点明了街头艺术节发生的时间、地点及其基本情况等,符合新闻报道真实性的写作特点。 2.主体部分通常围绕导语中的主题进行具体而详细的说明。如本文第二、三段为主体段,具体叙述了这次活动的细节,从观众的人数、活动节目的多样性到各种服务活动,尤其是指出来这次活动最精彩的部分是儿童歌舞,点明活动的精彩之处。 3.结尾通常是对全文内容的概括总结。如本文最后一段点明节庆活动给观众带来的乐趣及其凝聚不同社区的重要作用。 三、学语言特色 1.用事实数据展现具体内容:导语部分介绍参与人员的数量时用了over 10,000 people from over 20 communities。 2.使用直接引语:在报道中直接引用人物所说的原话,可以瞬间将读者置于新闻人物面前,让读者亲身感受新闻的环境与过程。如总结部分作者引用了活动参与者的话“We are eager to participate in next year's festival.”形象地展示了参与者对这次街头艺术节的看法,使报道具有现场感,增强了说服力。 四、学亮点表达 1.程度副词表明报道活动的强或弱,反映作者对活动的感受。如本文第一段使用highly、heavily、rather及well等一系列副词,为营造节庆气氛起到了衬托作用。 2.报道的主体部分描述活动的具体过程,常采用一些高级词汇或句型。如本文第二段第四句中使用了高级短语a wide variety of和非限制性定语从句“most of which were singing and dancing”表明了节目的种类繁多。第三段第三句中的enjoy比like更能反映出观众对节目的喜爱和表演的精彩。 [提能训练] (完成句子) ①The_sports_meet_was_highly_successful,_making students more enthusiastic about sports. 这次运动会很成功,使学生们更加热爱体育。 ②There were a wide variety of works, most_of_which_were_Chinese_paintings_and_ sculptures. 作品种类繁多,其中大部分是国画和雕塑。 具体写作指导 Write a news report about the event ——写一篇介绍活动的新闻报道 第一步:构思谋篇 Tense Past simple tense Person First or Third person Main points Part 1:Basic information such as the time, location, and characters of the reporting event.
