You got up so early and arrived at the airport on time. ②—She's decided to work part-time. —What for? (2)通过“句式仿写”做到熟练运用 ③——她父亲很富有。 ——那又怎么样?即使他提供帮助,她也不愿接受。 —Her father is very rich. —So_what?She wouldn't accept his help even if it were offered. ④如果下起雨来,我们又没处避雨怎么办? What_if it rains when we can't get under shelter? 2.That's what Roots & Shoots is all about: the value and importance of each individual — human, animal or plant. 这就是“根与芽”的全部意义:重视每一个个体的价值和重要性,不管是人、动物还是植物。 本句中what引导表语从句,且在从句中作宾语。 what常可用来引导名词性从句,其在名词性从句中常可以理解为:“……的事物”,在从句中可作主语、宾语、表语、宾语补足语。 [易混辨析] 名词性从句中的that和what 相同点 that与what都可引导名词性从句 不同点 that在从句中不作成分,也无实义,只起连接作用 what在从句中作主语、表语、宾语或宾语补足语,并保持原疑问词的意义或表示“……的事物” “两层级”学通用活句式 (1)通过“句式变换”弄明句式结构 ①He is no longer the person that he used to be. →He is no longer what_he_used_to_be. ②All that we need is your timely help. →What_we_need is your timely help.
