教材分析
本课时是外研版小学英语五年级下册第四模块的第一单元第一课时,主要学习library,idea,put,heavy,card,ask,wrong,dear, student,sent,dictionary,library card这几个新单词,并运用所学句子Let’s+动词原形(+其他). These are+复数可数名词+about+表示类别的名词.五年级的学生处于小学阶段,对一些事物的认知尚且模糊,对部分单词的感知和理解可能存在问题,对于五年级下学期学生的要求重点是会读会说,敢于模仿表达,其次能掌握一些基本单词的拼写和造句,在此基础上与人进行简单沟通。
学情分析
本节课的授课对象是小学五年级的学生。五年级的学生上课时能够专心听讲,能够积极主动的发言,思维活跃,善于提问。通过课堂上创设真实、有趣的语境,拓展延伸,为学生提供丰富的语言资源,吸引所有学生都能够积极主动参与课堂学习活动,并有所获是本节课的关键。
教学目标及教学重点、难点
语言知识目标:新单词library,idea,put,heavy,card,ask,wrong,dear, student,sent,dictionary,library card等。
新句型Let’s+动词原形(+其他). These are+复数可数名词+about+表示类别的名词.的教学。
语言技能目标:能根据情境正确使用提建议的句型谈论生活、学习中的事物,提出问题,并作出解答。培养学生听、说、读、写、做的能力。
文化意识:在学习和日常生活中,能进一步注意到中外文化的异同。
情感目标:使学生体验学习、参与、合作、竞争的乐趣。
重点
培养学生的阅读理解能力。

【设计意图】先通过视频直接导入图书馆话题,然后利用对话,温故知新。既复习了已学的语言点,又将语言点切入到本课的话题上,为下面的活动做铺垫。
3. Lead-in, then watch the CD-ROM and learn to say Activity 1.
Sam, Amy and Lingling also like reading. So they’ve got some books for the class. What have they got? Let’s have a look.
1)Watch the video.
2)Listen and repeat.
3) Read the dialogue together.

(1)We'll talk about how Lingling and Amy make a home library.
(2)After class, we’ll make a class library together. First let’s learn M4U1 Let’s make a home library. 出示课题并板书。
【设计意图】通过任务呈现,使学生明确学习目标以及学习之后要完成的任务。
(1)Look! Who are they? Where are they? What things can you see? Where these books and CDs from?
(2)Watch the video with the question “What do they do with these books and CDs?” and know the whole situation.
【设计意图】先通过观察图片分析基本信息,解决生词“CD”再带着问题观看课文动画,让学生有目的地看,锻炼学生获取重要信息的能力,初步了解课文内容感知其语意,为下一步课文学习奠定基础。
2. Read the dialogue by themselves and underline the answers to the three questions. Then talk about the answers in groups.
(1) What is Ms Smart’s idea?
(2) What is Lingling’s idea for the science books?
(3)What is Lingling’s idea with these big books?
(4) Have they got library cards?
(5) Where are the books about animals? Can they find them?
【设计意图】学生先独立阅读,后小组交流。既培养学生自主阅读能力,又通过生生互助作用,在小组内感知、理解和自主学习新词汇及核心语句。
3. Say the answers and learn to say the new words and sentences with the help of PPT.讲授语境中出现的新的单词”idea, put, library cards, ask, wrong, dear”
At the same time, write down the sentences on the blackboard.
