教材分析
本课时是外研版三起点六年级下册第六模块第二单元第一课时。本课时包括Look, listen and say.,Listen and read.和Read and complete.三个板块。Look, listen and say.主要为大家呈现了一幅太空旅行的图片,然后根据图片来描述图片内容,我们要使用本单元的重要时态一般过去时,要求学生会用一般过去时态来描述过去发生的动作或状态。Listen and read.主要为大家讲解了大明和西蒙做了一个“神州五号”宇宙飞船模型,“神州五号”是什么?我们一起去看看吧!Read and complete.我们要先观察图片中的物品,再结合所给句子,根据句意和图片提示完成下列句子;该课时要求我们要学会用一般过去时态描述过去的动作。本课时贴近学生生活,能够很好的激发学生的兴趣。
学情分析
学生在以前的学习中,已经知道了一般过去时的基本结构和用途,掌握了在一般过去时的肯定句中动词需要使用过去式的结构。学生在前几个模块中,又重新复习了一般过去时,并且对动词的不规则变化也有了一定的认识。描述事物的制作过程,学生以前也曾经接触过,但是对于不需要用主语的形式还要强调。在本课的设计中,以学生为主体,教师为主导,采用多种教学形式,将教学内容设计成一个个小活动,吸引学生积极参与,让学生通过动口、动手、动脑,听说读写并重,提高学生的学习兴趣和学习效率。

语言知识目标:新单词brought (bring), bring back ,model, taikonaut ,first, national, seed.

教师和学生谈论昨天做的事情,以问答式切入话题。

通过师生间的问答,引入过去时间的概念,让学生在特定的英语语境中练习使用一般过去时,并且有意识地限定学生使用不规则的动词变化形式,为学习新内容奠定基础。
Step2 Presentation

1.Words Learning!
1) 老师放映课件,用中文询问同学看到了什么?同学们会看到课件上呈现的图画。
2) 教师拿出单词卡片,进入重点新词汇学习环节,向同学展示图片,结合PPT上放映的内容,带领同学学习一些新单词,如snow, rain, sunny, hot,cold, warm, windy等然后有例句呈现。
3) 每张单词页后都附有一页单词解析,教室结合图片道具和动作向同学解释例句,帮助同学记忆。
2.教师出示几幅太空飞船的照片,问学生:“Where are the spaceships from?”, 学生回答:“They are from America, Russia and China.” 教师问:“What’s the name of China’s spaceship?”学生回答:“Shenzhou.”(导入,教师板书课题),教师接着问:“Do you want to know more about Shenzhou?”
a. 教师播放录音,让学生仔细听录音中的内容。
b. 再听一遍录音,并回答教师提出的问题。

c. 小组活动:根据教师给出的问题,学生尝试复述课文。(小组进行检查,互相帮助学习)
d. 教师:Daming and Sam made a paper Chinese spaceship. Do you want to make one yourself?
教师播放录音,学生边看书边听,让学生依据图片,逐步理解图中英语的意义,然后指图学说。

1.情景设计:要求学生将本单元的活动1和活动2结合起来,想象一下他们在制作前和制作后都谈论些什么,Daming在教Simon做飞船的时候,又是怎样介绍步骤的,编一段小对话,并请一组学生展示。
2.故事接龙:教师先说,Yesterday, Sam an Amy went to the library.,然后给出下一个单词wanted,由一个学生接着使用wanted讲下去,然后给出另外一个动词,比如,met,依次例推。
3.兴趣活动:全班学生齐唱今天所学的歌曲,可以让学生设计一些和歌词相符的简单的动作,边表演边唱。
【设计意图】在完成任务的过程中,学生们充分运用了他们所学的语言,达到了学以致用的目的,提高了实际语言运用的能力,同时又培养了学生的竞争意识和合作精神,为今后的学习和成长打下基础。
