A Terrible Earthquake
On the afternoon of May 12th, an earthquake suddenly hit a small Sichuan city. The city was in chaos at once. Buildings shook and some collapsed. Traffic, power and water supply were cut off. Many were injured and some died. People helped each other to escape outdoors.
Right after the earthquake, rescue workers from across the country rushed to the city. Firefighters saved people, doctors and nurses cared for the injured, and the government provided victims with necessities.

A Terrible Earthquake
On the afternoon of May 12th, an earthquake suddenly hit a small Sichuan city. The city was in chaos at once. Buildings shook and some collapsed. Traffic, power and water supply were cut off. Many were injured and some died. People helped each other to escape outdoors.
Right after the earthquake, rescue workers from across the country rushed to the city. Firefighters saved people, doctors and nurses cared for the injured, and the government provided victims with necessities.
