Ask students to work in pairs to draw a story map for the continuation of "The Last Leaf", including title, setting, characters, new plot, development and ending. 25min 应用实践 Activity 4: Post-writing Invite 1-2 groups to share their story maps. Then, ask students to write a short continuation of "The Last Leaf" (3-5 sentences) using the story map and descriptive language from the Sentence Builder. Reading Club 2: Guide students to review the excerpt from "The Prince of Denmark’s Death". Ask students to answer the general understanding question: "Why does Claudius poison the wine? Who dies from drinking it?" Then, organize a short discussion about the critical thinking question.
