This section guides students to discuss the evolution of household appliances, predict future changes of daily electronic devices, and deliver structured English presentations integrating scientific vocabulary, logical reasoning and critical thinking about technology and life.

Step 1 Lead-in
Teacher shows pictures and short videos of early and modern household appliances, such as telephones, computers and washing machines. Students observe and share the changes they notice. Teacher raises guiding questions: How have these devices changed our life? What might they be like in decades?Design Intent: Create a real-life context to activate prior knowledge, arouse curiosity about scientific and technological development, and naturally lead to the topic of presentation.
Step 2 Language Input & Vocabulary Building
Teacher presents key words and phrases about technology, evolution, functions and predictions, including evolve, intelligent, portable, efficient, sustainable, be equipped with, make a difference, it is likely that, there is no doubt that. Teacher explains usage and collocations with example sentences. Step 3 Structure Analysis of a Presentation
Teacher shows a short sample presentation about future mobile phones.
