It's not always easy to try to become a better person. If you're looking for an easy way, try being politer first. Here is some advice for you.
Meet someone on time. If you've planned to meet somebody at a certain time, make sure you're on time or even a few minutes early. If you are late, let the other person know the reason. Things can happen unexpectedly, but it's impolite to be late for a meeting for no reason.
Don't ask endless questions. When meeting someone, polite people don't simply ask the other person an endless list of questions. Instead, they listen, ask questions and actually join in the conversation. Want to know how to make small talk? The easiest way is to treat everyone like an old friend from the very beginning.
Be a good listener. People love talking about themselves. So, when having a conversation with someone, we should pay attention to listening to them.
Use polite words. Make sure you thank people for their help and advice and always include “please” when asking for something. If somebody offers you something, use “Yes, please” or “No, thanks”.
Good manners can make a big difference to how other people feel about you. When you show good manners, others are more likely to be polite in return.
