根据后文“a valuable lesson—keep walking after matching the landmarks. I saw a familiar tree”中的“friends”提示,此处是和friends“朋友”同行。
take over“接管”、get to“到达”、care about“关心”均不符合“迷路查位置”的场景。
break down“出故障”、sit down“坐下”、climb down“爬下”均不符合“缓解紧张”的语义。
look for“寻找”、do with“处理”、worry about“担心”均不符合“借助生活技能”的语义。

How did the teacher create those amazing pictures? First she asked her students about their dream jobs in the future. Then, she used AI tools to create pictures of them in their dream jobs. If a student wanted to be a pilot, he would be flying a plane in the picture. If a student wanted to be a doctor, he would be wearing a white coat in the picture. The students were very excited. They could see themselves as doctors, teachers, artists...
Balci’s idea was simple but helpful. The pictures helped the students see their p... futures and encouraged them to go for their dreams. “I wanted to shed light on (使清晰) my students’ dreams,” said Balci. “They were very happy when they got the pictures showing their future jobs. Mum was cooking in the kitchen. She could hear the girls arguing in the living room. It was the third time this week the sisters had argued. A few minutes later, Maria went into her bedroom angrily and closed the door heavily.
“Come to the kitchen, Maria,” Mum said in a soft but serious voice.
Maria walked into the kitchen and shouted, “I can’t stand (忍受) living with Felicia for another minute. I don’t want to talk to her again!”
Mum called out, “Felicia, come to the kitchen right now.”
While Felicia was on her way, Mum put two chairs facing each other. “Maria, you sit here and Felicia, you sit there.” The girls sat face to face, with their knees almost touching. “Now you look at each other in the eye for five minutes.” Mum ordered.
At first, the girls moved from side to side. Mum said, “You must keep looking at each other for five minutes. Each minute without eye contact (接触) means another minute sitting in the chair.” They both wanted out, so they had to sit here and look at each other. Felicia looked at Maria’s angry face while Maria looked at Felicia’s. They each thought the other one looked funny.

Some animals can easily find their way home after a long journey. How do they make it? The research shows that they are born with certain unusual abilities for direction.
One kind of ants, for example, can count their steps to avoid (避免) getting lost. They can go as far as 110 metres and bring food home. These ants live in the open desert (沙漠), so they have nothing to guide them along the way. It’s like someone walking six kilometres through a dark forest.
Some fish have a very good sense of smell. They can smell even a little of their home water in a large sea area. Some sea birds have a similar ability. They are able to make a “smell map” in their mind for their flying area.
Some animals can sense the earth’s magnetic field (磁场), while humans can’t. This magnetic field guides a certain kind of fish when they swim a long way to a place and then back. How can this kind of fish do that? It’s still a question for scientists.
However, animals with such unusual abilities still have difficulty living with environmental changes. Usually, human activities cause the changes. For example, many birds depend on stars for direction, but they get lost easily at night when we keep city lights on all night. To solve this problem, we can simply turn off some lights at night. Believe it, one small act of humans may mean a lot to animals.
66. How do the ants in the open desert find their way?
A. By making a smell map. B. By counting their steps.
C. By following their senses. D. By walking through a forest.
67 What similar ability do sea birds and some fish have?
A. They have a good sense of smell. B. They can draw a map in their area.
C. They depend on stars for direction. D. They can sense the earth’s magnetic field.
68. Which question do scientists still need to research?
A. What can people do to protect animals?
B. How do some animals make a smell map?
C. How can some animals sense the earth’s magnetic field?
D. Why do animals have difficulty with environmental changes?
69. What does the writer ask us to do in the last paragraph?
A. Develop unusual abilities. B. Learn more about animals.
C. Keep city lights on at night. D. Help animals with their direction.
70. What's the best title for the text?
A. The Journey of Animals B. Ways to Protect Animals
C. Humans and Animals in Nature D. Animals’ Abilities for Direction
B 67. A 68. C 69. D 70. D

第三段海鸟和部分鱼类的对比:“Some fish have a very good sense of smell...Some sea birds have a similar ability”,说明海鸟和部分鱼类的相似能力是都拥有敏锐的嗅觉。
第四段指出研究方向:“Some animals can sense the earth’s magnetic field (磁场), while humans can’t. This magnetic field guides a certain kind of fish when they swim a long way to a place and then back. How can this kind of fish do that? It’s still a question for scientists”,说明部分动物如何感知地球磁场这个问题仍需要科学家研究。
最后一段“many birds depend on stars for direction, but they get lost easily at night when we keep city lights on all night. To solve this problem, we can simply turn off some lights at night. Believe it, one small act of humans may mean a lot to animals”,说明作者呼吁我们帮助动物解决辨向的问题。

Why should we set goals? Setting goals is really important because it helps us create our future and guides us towards what we want. Goals are like a map, and they show us the way to success (成功).Our goals turn our lives into something we can control (控制).
Successful people know what they want in life, and they will set a goal before they act. The goal can tell them where to go and how to get there. With the goal, it’s easier to face any situation in life because people know where to go. Imagine two drivers on a trip. The first driver knows exactly where he is going. He can drive straight there and make right decisions along the way. The second driver doesn't know where to go. He starts from the same place but drives around without any plans. Which driver would you like to be?
People who win in life understand the power (力量) of setting goals and working towards them. They know that success isn’t just good luck. It comes from hard work and clear goals. People who don’t succeed often let life pass them by.
Setting goals isn’t as hard as it sounds. The key is to find out what’s important to us. Writing our goals down makes them much nearer to reach. Writing down our goals often helps us remember them and gives us confidence to work towards our goals.

Nowadays, AI seems to be everywhere. And it’s showing up more and more in the classroom. A while ago, Balci, a teacher from a primary school in Turkey (土耳其), did a really cool thing. With AI tools, she created pictures of what her students might look like in the future, according to each student’s dream.
Their happiness made me happy too.”
Balci hopes these pictures will encourage her students to realize their beautiful dreams in the future.

At first the girls moved from side to side.
Soon Maria couldn’t stand it any longer and began laughing, and so did Felicia. Mum wisely didn’t say anything except, “OK, girls, you can go now.”

Some fish have a very good sense of smell They can smell even a little of their home water in a large sea area.
67. What similar ability do sea birds and some fish have?
