辨析: when & while
when既可以表示一个时间点,也可以表示一个时间段。
从句的动词既可以是短暂性动词(如:arrive, start, finish, open等),也可以是延续性动词(如:stay, live, work等)。
主句动作可以发生在从句动作的“瞬间”,也可以是同时或先后。
while主要表示一个时间段(持续的、进行的一段时间)。
从句的动词必须是延续性动词(如:be, stay, work, sleep等)或表示状态的词。从句常用进行时态。
