写作专项提能
写作项目——Write a personal profile
本单元的写作任务是写一篇个人简介。个人简介是对个人的姓名、年龄、经历、特长、爱好及其他情况所做的简明扼要的书面介绍。英语写作中的个人简介主要有两种:一种是单纯的自我介绍,目的是告知对方一些个人信息;另一种是作为应用文写作的一部分,通过对个人的介绍来达到某种明确特定的目的,如申请某份工作、加入某个活动等。一般以第二种考查居多。

一、学文体架构
阅读课文,总结该文体的框架结构如下:
二、学要点构思
1.开头要开门见山地简要介绍自己,如课文中About me部分中的第一句“I'm a senior secondary school student and my favourite subject is English.”。
2.内容要包括自己的爱好和特长,如课文中About me部分中的“In my free time, I'm usually in the library or at the park with a good book.I've always loved to read!”。
3.个人简介往往带有目的性,在文中要表明自己的目的及愿望,如课文中Reasons for joining the reading club部分“I think it's fun to hear about new books that other people enjoy.Is there a fantasy book that you really like? Let's share ideas.”。
三、学要点拓展
在写个人简介时,应重点阐述自己所具备的知识、经验、专业技能、爱好、曾取得的成绩及申请的原因等,目的是突出自己的优势,提高竞争力。此类写作要注意不能只有骨架,要加一些适当的拓展描写:如描写自己的爱好时,可以具体描写某些场景,然后介绍此种爱好的原因。如课文中作者在介绍自己最喜欢的书Harry Potter时,用However进行转折,表明自己最喜欢第一部,然后用In my opinion、 After reading it来介绍自己喜欢的原因。
四、学行文逻辑
进行个人介绍时,一般从基本信息概述、具体介绍和表达期望三个角度给予层级式展现,让读者感到建议合情合理。在呈现要点时,注意运用衔接词,如课文中使用了“also、However、In my opinion、After reading it”等,使文章有整体性、连贯性。
五、学特色语句
个人简介的语言一般要求准确精练、言简意赅,字里行间要体现出自信,态度要诚恳。多用“喜欢……;擅长……;对……感兴趣”等表达方式,凸显自己的优势或特长,如课文中“I'm a senior secondary school student and my favourite subject is English. I also enjoy history and geography, and I love exploring new places with my family; I like all the books in the Harry Potter series; I like Hermione most, because we have a lot in common”等介绍了喜欢的学科、书籍等。
