A promise I kept
I made a promise to my parents last year and I managed to keep it.
Last year, I spent too much time playing games on my mobile phone. As a result, I failed the exams many times. My father and mother became so sad that they even cried. I promised to them I would give up playing games and try my best to make up for the lost time. To keep my promise, I gave my mobile phone to them and spent all my school time on my lessons. When I didn’t understand something, I would ask my teachers and classmates for help. With my hard work and their help, I have made great progress in my schoolwork.
Now my parents always praise me and I am also proud of myself.
