1. Greetings
T: Good morning, class.
Ss: Good morning, Miss/Mr XX.
2. Warm-up: Show pictures of students helping each other at school (picking up books, cleaning the classroom, helping with homework). Ask: "What are they doing? Do you help others at school? What do you do?"
3. Play a short song Help Each Other to lead into the topic.
1. Answer the teacher's greetings.
2. Observe pictures, share their own experiences of helping others.
3. Sing the song together.
Activate students' prior experience, arouse interest in the topic, and naturally lead into the new lesson.
讲授新课
1. Predict the story: Show Story time pictures quickly. Ask: "Who can you see? What do you think they are doing?"
2. Listen and perceive: Play the original audio of Story time. Ask students to listen and answer: "What help do the characters give in the story?"
3. Part-by-part learning:
(1) Picture 1: Point to Bobby and fallen books. Ask: "What happens here? What does Bobby say?" Teach "Let me help you." and explain its usage when offering help.
(2) Picture 2: Show Sam cleaning the blackboard. Ask: "Who is Sam helping? What does he say?" Teach "I can clean the blackboard."
(3) Other pictures: Guide students to find sentences like "Can you help me carry this box?" "Sure."

5. Listen and repeat: Play the audio sentence by sentence, guide students to imitate pronunciation and intonation.
