Unit 2 Lesson 2 A Report About Sports Day 教学设计
一、 教学目标
语言知识与技能:
掌握与运动会相关的核心词汇与短语:take part in, work hard, get in the way, have fun, win first/second/... place, champion, a big success。
理解并能够复述一篇关于运动会的简短报告的结构与关键信息(事件、参与者、获奖者、感受)。
能够运用正确形式的短语完成对话。
能够基于提示问题,口头及书面描述自己学校上一次运动会的情况。
学习策略与能力:
通过阅读训练,培养从文本中提取并整理关键信息(完成表格)的能力。
通过小组讨论与写作,培养信息组织与连贯表达的能力。
情感与文化态度:
理解并认同“友谊第一,比赛第二”(“Winning is not everything. It is important to have fun.”)的体育精神。
增强对学校集体活动的参与感和积极回忆。
二、 教学重点与难点
重点: 理解运动会报告的结构;掌握并运用本课核心短语;能根据框架描述运动会。
难点: 将阅读中获得的信息和语言结构,迁移运用到个人经历的口头与书面描述中。
三、 教学过程 (45分钟)
Step 1: 热身与导入 (Warm-up & Lead-in) (5分钟)
活动:头脑风暴 & 兴趣调查
提问:What sports do you know? 快速在黑板上罗列运动名称。
聚焦主题:We have a Sports Day every year, right? 引导学生看活动1的四个项目图标(running, high jump, long jump, hurdles),让学生 Tick and talk:Which sports would you like to take part in on Sports Day? Why? 进行简短同桌交流。
Step 2: 阅读训练与信息提取 (Reading Comprehension) (15分钟)
活动1:阅读与填表
预测: 展示标题和图片,提问:This is Danny‘s report. What do you think he will write about? (可能回答:events, winners, his feeling...)
略读: 学生快速阅读全文,验证预测,把握主旨(这是一篇关于成功运动会的报告,Danny得了第四名但玩得开心)。
寻读与填表: 学生再次仔细阅读,定位关键信息,独立完成表格(可设计如下):

核对与深化理解: 核对答案后,提问:Why did Danny only get fourth place? (His tail got in the way.) How did he feel first? And later? (Felt a little sad -> had lots of fun) What did his teammates say? 引出核心句 “Winning is not everything. It is important to have fun.”
Step 3: 语言聚焦与运用 (Language Focus & Practice) (10分钟)
活动1:短语填空
短语回顾: 带领学生朗读并回顾四个短语:take part in, work hard, have fun, get in the way,结合课文例句讲解含义。
完成对话: 学生独立或两人一组,用短语的正确形式完成李明和丹尼的对话。
角色朗读: 请学生分角色朗读完整的对话,检查答案并强化语音语调。
Step 4: 口语输出与写作准备 (Oral Output & Writing Preparation) (10分钟)
活动1:讨论上一次运动会
搭建框架: 将活动4的提示问题(How many events?, Who took part?, Who were the winners?, Did you have fun?)展示出来,作为讨论的支架。
示范对话: 教师与一名学生示范教材上的示例对话(A: Did you have fun...? B: Yeah...)。
结对练习: 学生两人一组,根据问题和自身经历进行对话练习。教师巡视指导。
Step 5: 写作产出与分享 (Writing Production & Sharing) (5分钟)
活动:撰写短文
写作任务布置: 要求学生根据刚才讨论的内容和提示问题,写一篇关于自己学校上一次运动会的简短报告(Write a short passage)。可提供开头句辅助,如:Our last sports meet was exciting/ fun/a big success...
课堂起草与分享: 给予学生几分钟时间在课上起草。邀请1-2名学生朗读自己的短文,教师给予积极点评(关注内容是否涵盖问题点,是否尝试使用新学的短语)。
五、 作业布置
基础作业: 完善并工整地抄写课堂上关于自己学校运动会的短文。
拓展作业: 假设你是学校小记者,根据Danny的报告,为学校网站写一则更简短的新闻摘要(60词左右),标题为“Sports Day: A Big Success!”。
预习作业: 复习本课所学短语,并用每个短语造一个关于自己生活的句子。
