语法核心一:过去进行时 核心定义
过去进行时表示过去某一时刻或某一阶段正在进行的动作
强调动作在过去特定时间点“正在发生”,而非完成结果
核心特征:动作具有持续性,需结合时间状语或语境判断
常搭配时间状语:at 8 last night、this time yesterday、at that moment
过去进行时句型结构表
句型形式 完整结构 例句
肯定句 主语 + was/were + 动词-ing + 其他 She was drawing a picture at 9 last night.
否定句 主语 + was/were + not + 动词-ing + 其他 They were not playing football this time yesterday.
一般疑问句 Was/Were + 主语 + 动词-ing + 其他? Were you listening to music when he came?
特殊疑问句 疑问词 + Was/Were + 主语 + 动词-ing + 其他? What were you doing at 7 yesterday morning?
过去进行时 be动词选择规则
be动词用was还是were,由主语的人称和数决定
1.主语为I/he/she/it及单数名词 → 用was
例:He was reading a book. / The bird was flying.
2.主语为we/you/they及复数名词 → 用were
例:We were talking. / The children were running.
注意:不可混淆be动词形式,避免出现was搭配复数主语的错误
过去进行时 动词-ing形式变化规则
1.一般情况:直接加-ing → read→reading、play→playing
2.以不发音e结尾:去e加-ing → write→writing、take→taking
3.重读闭音节(辅+元+辅):双写末尾辅音加-ing → run→running、stop→stopping
4.以ie结尾:变ie为y加-ing → lie→lying、die→dying
例:She was writing a letter. / They were running on the playground.
过去进行时 时间状语详解
1.具体时刻类:at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon、last Sunday morning at 10
例:I was swimming at 2 pm yesterday.
2.阶段持续类:all morning yesterday、during the holiday last year
例:They were working all day yesterday.
3.从句引导类:when/while/as引导的时间状语从句
例:He was sleeping when the phone rang.
语法核心二:时间连词 when/while/as 用法辨析
连词 核心用法 动作类型搭配 例句
when 可指“某一点时间”或“一段时间” 长动作(进行时)+ 短动作(一般过去时) I was eating when the doorbell rang.
while 仅指“一段时间”,强调动作同时性 长动作+长动作(均用进行时) While she was cooking, I was cleaning.
as 强调“一边……一边……”,动作同步 长动作+长动作(可省进行时) He was singing as he walked home.
when vs while 核心区别(易混点)
1.动作时长:when可接短动作(瞬间性)和长动作,while仅接长动作
错误:While the accident happened, I was walking.
正确:When the accident happened, I was walking.
2.时态搭配:when可连接“进行时+一般过去时”,while常连接“进行时+进行时”
3.位置灵活:when引导的从句可放句首或句末,while从句放句首需加逗号
as的特殊用法+三大连词实战运用
as侧重“动作同时发生”,可译为“一边……一边……”
例:She was watering flowers as her son was doing homework.
实战技巧:
•短动作(如happen、ring、arrive)出现时,优先用when
•两个持续动作同时进行,用while或as
•强调动作伴随,用as
