为什么同一个地球上不同的地方有不同的时间呢?今天我们就来了解一下时区的概念,先来了解一下时区的由来。地球是一个球体,它围绕着太阳公转,同时也自转。因为自转的原因,地球上不同的地方会在不同的时间看到太阳,当太阳正好照射到某个地方的正上方时,那个地方就是正午。这种根据太阳和本地子午线经过本地正北和正南的经线所确定的时间叫做地方时。如果每个地方都用自己的地方时,那么就会很混乱,这种时间上的混乱也不利于全球的交流和合作。为了解决这个问题,1884年在美国华盛顿召开了子午线国际会议,决定把地球表面360度划分为24个时区,每个时区横跨经度15度,相邻两个时区的时间相差一小时。这样,同一个时区内的所有地方就可以使用同一个时间,叫做区时而不同时区之间的时间差就可以用简单的加减法来计算。
