Blue whales are the largest mammals on earth. They rank among the planets largest creatures at birth. Baby whales gain about two hundred pounds a day. During its first year. They become grown ups at about eight years old. The adult blue whales tongue alone can weigh as much as an elephant. The giant animals live on tiny shrimp like animals called grill. And adult blue whale can eat about four tons of grill a day. Blue whales breathe through lungs to breathe out air. They spray water from holes in the top of their heads. Sometimes the spray can shoot thirty feet up into the air. Blue whales tend to stay alone or in paris, but how do they know the situation of their family members that are far away to communicate? The whales grow and more, their loudest sound can be heard up to one thousand miles away.
